Jazz proposing something that gets us both ... not HOU offering both.
The Kanter/Millsap thing was purely speculation on my part. I was just perplexed what we have to offer them for the two picks if Al is not wanted.
That may be an overreaction to the Marshall thing. I think the team knows they desperately need shooting and gritty defenders. I hope they're doing what I was hoping for and looking for a PG in FA vs. draft (Rondo).

I am understanding better now. Thanks for clearing that up.

As a side note, if we could swing Millsap, $ and a future 2nd round pick for two lotto picks this year I would consider KOC the greatest GM of the century.

That might be a slight exaggeration.
 
It's important to bear in mind that Houston almost always buys low and gets good deals. They're trying to fleece the Jazz and I don't blame them.
 
I would rather keep Millsap than have two picks in the middle of the first round. That is assuming the Jazz extend Millsap at reasonable money ($10 mil/year, and yes, that is very reasonable).

Yes. Much of this going on right now. Both ways. That's why it's hard to put deals together ..

Still trying to figure out wtf the HOU deal looks like. The Jazz proposed it. The Cavs came to the Jazz.

FWIW, it seems to be much easier to get info regarding a deal that a team pursued us vs. us pursuing them. Holy hell, this franchise has info on total lockdown.

I agree. But not on the dollar amount, I can live with 5 years, 45M. Not more than that though I think.

Oops, must have pushed too hard .. was just TOLD that no more info will come prior to the 30th. Kinda dickhead about it too.
