I asked Locke yesterday about this exact trade scenario, he replied back to me that while it is a real possibility, he has heard more and more that Lowry is "a questionable dude."

Also, I just asked about Marshall again. This guy, who would know, said the Jazz see him as a bad fit. Not a bad player, but a bad fit. We need shooting and defense ... and he has neither. Ouch. Wow, I thought he was the prototypical Jazz guy.

I would agree with your contact. Three point shooting should be taking precedence over everything from what I saw in the Spurs series.

What if We traded Favors to the Cavs for their 3rd and ~33rd (forget the exact pick position), and then the 3rd pick dropped to first;



We could have a Anthony Davis + Darius Miller draft. Hmmm.



PS: I can't see us trading Millsap to the Rockets; I could see it happening to Detroit though.

I would only trade Favors for Davis, the possibility of getting moved back to fourth and getting essentially Drummond/Beal + a 2nd for Favors makes it absolutely out of the question.

If we get both picks plus the GS pick goes to #8, if we package #8, #14, and#16, and Jefferson, is that enough to move up to the #1 pick to draft Davis. I would love to see a Favors, Davis front line. Would anyone even score in the paint against us?

No one would do that. Not even the lolcats. Historically you would be very lucky if one of those picks turns out to be an all star.
