Following potential 2012 draftees

Some food for thought for everyone:

What if We traded Favors to the Cavs for their 3rd and ~33rd (forget the exact pick position), and then the 3rd pick dropped to first;

We could have a Anthony Davis + Darius Miller draft. Hmmm.

PS: I can't see us trading Millsap to the Rockets; I could see it happening to Detroit though.

This is what the Cavs already offered the Jazz and we said hell no.

Is a 20% chance at Anthony Davis and an 80% chance at Beal or Drummond really worth Favors? I'm in agreement that we get a horrible deal there.

Favors fits well with the Jazz organization in terms of personality match as well as being a great player.

Not worth the risk at all, especially if you think Favors is going to be a special player.

You'd be hardpressed at this point to convince me he won't. His offensive game is coming along and defensively he makes this team 10000000x better. If he works hard over the summer and starts well I wouldn't be shocked to see him pushing for All-star consideration.

Another thought.

If we get both picks plus the GS pick goes to #8, if we package #8, #14, and#16, and Jefferson, is that enough to move up to the #1 pick to draft Davis. I would love to see a Favors, Davis front line. Would anyone even score in the paint against us?

They would take it if we threw in Kanter and took back Ty Thomas with the TPE.

Does anyone actually think that either of the teams would make the trade before the lottery? Why would they do that? I'm sure they are just talking hypothetical until the lottery is over with.
