If I thought he would except the 6th man roll I wouldn't be saying this, but I have a feeling he only wants to start.

That is my only concern with Millsap. He could be getting easier shots, more rebounds and more recognition as the 6th man for the Jazz. He would be a perennial 6th man of the year candidate getting plenty of votes every year if not winning it himself.

I think some are overvaluing Millsap on this topic. Don't get me wrong I love Millsap, but let's face it he's the worst thing you can be in the NBA, an undersized pf, not exactly a classic pf/sf type. I think trading both him and Al is smart. I don't think the true "tweener" tag applies to Sap as much as people think it does. Height doesn't automatically equate to being undersized. Two things with Paul that go overlooked:

1) Very long and athletic. 7' + wingspan, deceptively quick off of his feet and good spring.

2) This will sound stupid...but he has no neck (i.e., wasted height in basketball). It's been touched on before with other prospects (e.g. Elton Brand - https://www.draftexpress.com/article/A-Historical-Look-at-the-NBA-Pre-Draft-Measurements-2912/). If he were more appropriately proportioned, he'd likely be 6'9" in shoes (in other words, legit PF size).
