Following potential 2012 draftees

Chad Ford on Tony Wroten's workout today

"Wroten will go to a team that can bring him along slowly like Boston was able to do with Avery Bradley. For that reason, we could see Wroten slipping to the back end of the first round, but a 6-foot-6 point guard with huge potential could be too much for a team to pass up somewhere in the middle of Round 1. Ford has him going No. 23 to Atlanta in the latest Mock Draft, which is exactly the sort of situation -- playing behind rising point guard Jeff Teague -- that would suit him well"

Lillard and Wroten a possibility?

I see Quincy Miller as a potential game-changing player, just because he can do a number of things at his size, and freak athleticism is a bit overrated. He's got to get healthy and stronger, but he's young. I could see him in the 9 - 14 range.

FWIW, Tracy McGrady had a low release point on his jumper. Didn't hurt him at all. Miller has some of the same instincts and versatility.

Great points. The Jazz need scoring from the wing and he can provide that.

I've not seen many people question QMiller's upside. At the beginning of this thread I called QMiller a top 3 talent ... but his drive is highly in question.

Also, in the limited time the ****ty combine show gave the center workout, Meyers Leonard looked big and fast. I only saw them do catch and dunk drills, but he looked pretty athletic and long.

My point is that his stock is falling and people will be kicking themselves in the future.

Draft related twitter that cracks me up:

Alex Kennedy: Last year, a prospect asked a GM about his city's nightlife and said, "I like my vodka cranberry." That's how guys slip on draft night.

So, Cy, you're sending mixed signals as to whether you think the coverage of the combine is simply fantastic.

On Leonard .. no question he's big, fast, and athletic. Tons of upside .. but he is raw and a team will have to be patient in bringing him along .. and willing to go high risk / high reward.

Hilarious. What a damn douche. I guess brains are optional.
