Following potential 2012 draftees

The debate is settled. MKG will be great and I can prove it. How? Michael Jordan just said he's not sold on him.

I've come to the conclusion that I really would be happy with anyone in the first round outside of the North Carolina players; except for Marshall; Jared Sullinger,Teague,Nicholson and Moe Harkless and any foreign dude

I may be the only one but I really like buying a very late 1st round or early 2nd for Tony Wroten. He's got great size and reading his strengths on NBAdraft.com gets me giddy. If he improves his jump shot(Which he has to tremendously), I think he could be a very good PG in the league. I don't see any reason why his ceiling cant be Russell Westbrook

....wow. So, you don't like Barnes or Zeller? I'd take either on the Jazz. Barnes is a great shooter, which is what we need and Zeller has a very extensive repertoire of offensive moves and is a decent rebounder with good size. I also like Teague and Harkless, Teague really came on late and showed that he can play PG and Harkless just has a ton of potential. I'd like him over Wroten.

I would be ok with a late pick on Wroten because he has size and potential...but the chances of him improving his jump shot enough to be a consistent threat is pretty dang low. On another note, nbadraft is complete and total trash, if you're going to use something other than your own eyes to scout a player, use draftexpress.

In group 1.
Robsinson, I agree.
Beal, cautious, but still agree.
Drummond, hate his work ethic/motor, but have to agree because of the ridiculous upside.
PJ3 - I like him, but I'm not jumping off my couch.
Terrence Ross - Puke, that is all .. mainly because he has insanely low IQ.
QMiller - see PJ3.
Wroten - No, train wreck.
JTaylor - I would love to have him .. but certainly not in the lottery.

2nd group -
Just about agree except no to Melo.

3rd group -
Jenkins - you're undervaluing his athleticism, reach, defense. Though we're not that far off.
Sullinger - I'd move him to group 2.
MKG - Just vastly underrating him when comparing to Carroll.

(Now that I've typed that out, we're not as far apart as I thought .. I guess the first scan I only saw the parts I hated, lol)

1. No way in hell I'd take all these guys in the lottery, just wanted to make that clear. For example, I would take all of these guys later than 14 or right at it: Melo,Ross, both Jones', Taylor, Quincy, Wroten, Marshall, Leonard, Moultrie, White and Jenkins
2. Why don't you like Melo? I would take him in a heart beat in the mid 20's
3. You wouldn't be excited with Wroten with around the 30th pick?
4. I just don't see a huge gap between Carroll and MKG to use a very high lottery pick. Carroll is a better shooter, MKG is probably more athletic, both play pretty good defense but Carroll has never had a teammate like Davis protecting the rim, both are good on the fast break, but MKG is better. MKG is also a better leader. Both hustle like crazy and are very tough.

Also comparing MKG to Carroll is probably the dumbest thing I have ever read...so congratulations on that!

They're both glue guys who have their games centered around defense at the SF position. While I agree MKG is 10 x the player Carroll is, it's far from the dumbest thing I've read on here.

Davis, who has often drawn comparison to a young Kevin Garnett, was asked to list some frontcourt players he looks forward to playing against.

“Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard … I’m kinda scared of KG, he’s kind of crazy.” Davis said.
