If the Jazz decide the price is too high to get into the first round and only take a second rounder, I hope they at least trade up in the 2nd Round to grab Doron Lamb.

The talk that Doron Lamb can play the point has me intrigued. Can he really play PG?
I know he can shoot (jazz need).

Yes doron lamb can play pg. I am not convinced he is a full time starter but I see him being a bench guy that plays both the 1 and the 2.

I see Lamb as Gary Neal type of PG, meaning he isn't a PG but he can shoot really good and handle the ball good enough.

That's ok there are a number of teams willing to sell their pick at the end of the first for early seconds or even cash.

That is a decent comparison. I think lamb is a better passer.

I was thinking more along the lines of Mo Williams.

Yeah because 1.5 assist with Anthony Davis and Terrance Jones screams good passer to me. Backup combo guard.

But Williams is not as good as a shooter or a defender. These comparisions are all a little loose.

But Mo Williams has shot 43% from downtown in the NBA and is a 39% career 3pt shooter in the NBA. Until Lamb does that I would call Williams the better shooter.

Lamb has the IQ to play PG in the NBA .. and he's a good defender. He's a combo for at least a few years though .. as he doesn't have PG experience.
