Following potential 2012 draftees

This guy should be available at #47

Jonathan Givony: Tomorrow at noon is the NBA early-entry withdrawal deadline. According to agent @MiskoRaznatovic, Furkan Aldemir will stay in the draft.

What can the Kanter fans from Turkey tell us about Furkan Aldemir?

Love his name.

So anyone know anything about this Furkan guy?

This Furkan guy needs to hold a Furkan workout for the jazz, so we can see what the Furk we're dealing with.

Sorry guys for late answer.

Prominent things about Furkan are,

1) His rebounding instincts, he can be good at rebounding almost as much as Enes, the guy nowhere near Enes physically but he doesn't rebound with his size, he has tremendous timing and position knowledge for rebounding and he has length.

2) His character, he's a winner. He's tough, hardworking guy and very smart, he's very warm and amiable off the court, but a true warrior on the court.

3) His pick&roll game, with a good pick&roll pg, he can be a good weapon on the offense. He rolls to the rim quickly and finishes well.

Additionally, I can say he's decent at free throw line, he has lateral quickness and quick feet, he has nice shooting mechanics but doesn't have a mid range shooting yet, he doesn't have a polished post game, can do little face to the basket or on one on one. His size is good for 4 but needs to gain muscle to cope with the NBA bigs, especially for the center position. He's a good decent shot blocker in Europe and I think can be an average blocker in the NBA.

Overall, a true hustler, very good rebounder, always ready for passes on offense but can't create his own offense, smart player, good defender, definitely not typical soft euro big, needs to size up and develop an offensive repertoire.

Farkan has 3 years left on a contract with Galatallatala..... something like that, in Turkey(I think).

That sounds about right for Mr. Kevin I think we have enough youth for now O'Connor.

Yes you're right, but I think it has an option for nba in the last two years, if I'm not mistaken, I have to research it.
