exum is supposed to be an elite playmaker. young penny hardaway like. i wouldn't mind him if he comes in tall and long. he could be our tmac minime/young penny playing at 2.

Yes. But we also already have a PF, C, PG, and guys on the wing. I think at 3/4 he's BPA. I think he's good enough to start at one the guard spots within a year or two (still not sold on Trey Burke as a franchise point guard).
In other news, Julius Randle is a man.
we don't need trey to be a franchise PG. we just need a smart PG who can control the tempo, not make mistakes, and be clutch. as long as we get our superstar, trey will be fine. trey needs to be our 2nd or 3rd option. not #1.
but yes Randle is the man. dude knows what to do with the ball.

Of course, I don't know much about Exum outside of what I've read, but he's apparently got insane potential.
