Following potential 2014 draftees

Yup, they nearly beat a much more talented team that had a significant size advantage.

Would do that strategy 10/10 of times. It was dumb on the last possession though. Can't take that risk that late in the game only up 2.

Since A-Train negged me on this, I would like to know what his strategy to defending UK would be?

Press the sharpshooting wings of UK?

UK wings aren't awful shooters, but they aren't elite or even upper tier shooters. They are streaky shooters who have found a hot streak, but still teams are willing to test it. The strategy worked for 39:54 seconds, then a mental lapsed happened in their defense when they should have been chasing everything off of the 3pt line. It was a bad final defensive strategy (probably an individual lapse or something the coach forget to emphasize) but the strategy was effective for every other portion of the game.

You idiot. Take out Andrew because he isn't in the discussion. Why was he in the convo anyway.

Again, Cyrone had him in the original statement. You clearly failed to point it out because, 1) you didn't notice, or 2) you didn't think it mattered.

Again, I did take him out of the equation. It came out to 42% shooting between the Harrison with balls and Young, with Young boosting that percentage up. I fail to see anything special about that number, especially when you consider that Kentucky shot 50% as a team…so yes, that strategy actually did work out for Wisconsin. They didn't get the result you wanted, but the Harrisons and Young shooting jumpers was certainly preferable to the rest of the team getting the ball in the paint.

Fact of the matter is. Cy is stupid. Deer Hantler is stupid.

I'm really enjoying how you're calling us stupid when you can't even figure out how to write a sentence.

:)

Furthermore, you're the one personally insulting us, while neither of us (maybe Cy has, but I don't think I have) has personally insulted you yet. This is an important step in learning how to discuss things like an adult…don't take it personally when people disagree with you. It won't be the last time somebody disagrees with you.

Nah, I originally asked anyone to name an elite skill either Harrison possessed. He said Aaron's shooting, but then later admitted that his % were in fact not elite when I pointed the #'s out, but without actually admitting it and just insulting Otto Porter.

Well Otto Porter does suck. I know this because it's been one year.

Since you were wrong on him, you clearly know nothing about basketball. If you knew anything about basketball, you would be able to evaluate properly. You probably don't know anything because you're an old man who can't play ball.

Idiot.

Did you know that the Harrison twin with big balls shot 32% from 3 in conference this year?

He's an elite shooter.

I really don't think most of us are THAT down on either of these guys - we're only saying they're not top ten picks. Aaron in particular has no business being talked about in the lottery at this point because he can't dribble.

I think they both have the potential to be nice players, but what does Aaron Harrison do that say GR3 doesn't? Not much, in my estimation and nobody in their right mind would take him in the lotto.

paul pierce shot .302% when he was a freshman. glen rice shot .250% when he was a sophomore. actually rice never really attempted to shoot 3's in 1st 2 years. bottom line both shot bad %, but shown the ability to hit the big shot.

aaron harrison has a make up of becoming a very good shooter. he isn't afraid of the moment, has a good stroke, and wants to take the shot. 3 clutch shots man. that's no coincidence IMO.

potential is there. don't deny it.
