What's new

Following potential 2014 draftees

Randle isn't boozer. You guys are terrible at this game.

Boozer controlled the boards in college and had a really nice refined post game. He used his body about as well as anyone I've ever seen for pin downs and easy buckets. We saw this in those first few years here in utah. It wasn't until later that he became a jump shooter. You don't tear Yao and GS new ones by strictly being a jump shooter, dummies.

He wasn't ever a very good defender but at least he tried back then. Averages 18 and 8 while shooting 67 percent FG.

It wasn't until after he signed with utah that he began to use his jumper. Until gradually he became just a glorified jump shooter. He also stopped playing defense after Cleveland.

Today, he sucks at defense and isn't a very good offensive player anymore (his athleticism has failed).

Randle is a young raw Zbo. Zbo in college only had a left hand, was very physical (and raw) offensively, and was much lighter. He would often times not use his body right/miss bunnies early in his career. Of course, sparty's style and zbos body fused eventually and he became a dominant post.

It wasn't until later in his college career/nba career that he became heavy, lost his jumping ability, but developed a jumper.

The truth of the matter is that Young will end up being the best out of that Fab 5.

At worst? Have you watched Kemba play this year?

Yes? And he's pretty damn good.

Exactly why I think Napier is going to be pretty damn good. He's kemba walker. Perhaps, if he works at it and scores with the right franchise, a poor man's CP3 (CP3 is clearly the best pg in the league).

boozer shot plenty of jumpers for us. dude is just soft. all talk, no substance. never been a boozer guy. and he never really was a great athlete. never. empty regular season stats, no D. i was happy with him for few years, but i saw the light. he had his moment for sure. but if randle is another boozer than i'll be severely disappointed
