Dude was projected in first round last year before he pulled out. This year he is project 2ndround, I like him to Phx.

I was as big of a Isaiah Austin fan as you could find coming out of high school, even as a freshman I had some hope because of his rebounding, but Sophomore year he got considerably worse 7.8rebs per 40mins is awful for a 7'1" guy. He had great rebounding forwards around him but still it doesn't project well. his vision is kind of a concern aswell.

wouldent mind Austin at #35, but not if Walter Tavares is on the board hes a better prospect IMO

I think you may have misinterpreted what people are saying. Its "if he proved he could consistently compete in the NCAA up to his upside potential, he would have been #1" Implied in this is "if he competes in the NCAA and fails due to higher competition, then he is not even a lottery pick" The uncertainty is around which of these two you believe. Therefore he is somewhere in between (risk-adjusted pick, for you quants out there).

I was saying that if your scouts that have seen him think he has a higher ceiling than Embiid, wiggins, parker then you take that risk.

If I'm not mislead by my memory it was last fall that it became known that he has only 1 functioning eye.
That's a big problem in the faster pros game.
Not because of shooting but court vision, court awareness.
