Following potential 2014 draftees

No, they picked up Harris in the trade with Orlando. I'm sure that would make Cy happy.

Missed that one. But why would Orlando trade Harris to move down?

Also check out the next Jazz-related pick:
"We have a trade! The Philadelphia 76ers trade the #19 and #23 picks to the Utah Jazz for Gordon Hayward."

As I've written before I think Hayward's shot selection is different than Burks. I didn't say that Burks development is bad. I just don't think Burks is a better shooter because Hayward's shot selection contains more complex attempts. If you'd compare C&S which is like 99% of Burks attempts then you'd have a comparable shot selection.

Alec had 86 catch and shoot 3PA out of his 145 3PA, so 59,3% of his 3PA were C&S situations.

Gordon had 215 catch and shoot 3PA out of his 280 3PA, so 76,8% of his 3PA were C&S situations.

Who took more complex attemts?

If correct, this surprises me

You're surprised that the guy on the jazz known for his ability to create his own shot off the bounce takes less spot up jumpers than Hayward or anybody else on the team? Burks ability to create his own shot is what defines him at this stage of his career. I'm actually surprised it's that close.
