I was thinking something right along those lines. He was the glue that held that team together until the Harrison twins could get comfortable. I don't want him at 5, but if the Jazz were to figure out how to trade up to get him. . . I'd be ecstatic.

Going to be interesting to see how Randle actually does in the league. Would everyone be shocked if the Jazz snagged him?

I would be shocked (given that Vonleh has the stretch 4 game, a perfect complement to Favors).


HOWEVER, I would rather have a fighter like Randle on my team than Vonleh any day of the week. Bosh would be NOTHING without fighters like LeBron and Wade.

Bosh's last season in Toronto was damn good, 24 and 10.8 rebounds on better than 50% shooting. No one else has done that since Shaq.

To me, Vonleh's 3pt shot looks better/more comfortable than his mid-range game, so I'm expecting him to be shooting some 3's right off the bat.

I'm not doubting Bosh's productivity. He was indeed very productive in Toronto. But you and I both know a player you need more than productivity to win in this league - otherwise the likes of Carmelo would have won multiple Championships.



You need the heart of a fighter - and unless your team has that you just won't win.

Coming from the guy championing Saric at 5 based on a playoff series.

Cibona and Saric just got swept 3-0 by Cedevita in the championship round of the Croatian league. he shot 3-14 from 3 in the series and had more turnovers than assists.

That's cool.

3 games isn't going to change my mind though.
