Following potential 2014 draftees

The more I read from Steve Kyler, the more I think he knows nothing about the Jazz.

"@stevekylerNBA: .@Dixon_D: where are the Jazz going at 5? Chance Exum slides to them? ---> Possible, sounds like they want a four man -- Vonleh/Randle"

Either that or he had heard that Lindsey isn't sold on Kanter. Remember, Kanter is KOC's man, what's more he doesn't really fit the "Spurs' Mold".

Irving would have been #1. But, if Exum can really figure out defense, he might have a better career. (Irving is a piss poor defender, IMO).

Yeah, I think Exum could have a better career. I fully expect him to be a better passer and defender.

There's a guy who a lot of people have forgotten about because he had injuries and his team went out earlier than expected in the tourney....

Adreian Payne.

To me, he's an intriguing prospect. Most mocks I've seen have him being drafted in the teens. Unbelievable to me, since he's a far better prospect than Bennett, Sullinger, TRob, and some of these other players that have gone much higher in other drafts.
He has Favors' size and wingspan but has Marvin Williams' outside shot. He's an incredible athlete and smart, coming from that Mich St program. In call the games I saw, he could shoot from the outside, post up, and was pretty smart with the ball (he passed well he wasn't just a black hole).

Could you imagine a frontline of Favors and Payne? They might play better together than Kanter and Fsvors...

I would love to draft Payne and and have him really push Kanter. He would add some pow off the bench and might (in the end) be so good that we could trade Kanter for assets.

I really want to see us upgrade that 23 pick to break into the teens. So many intriguing prospects.

Won't be there when #23 rolls around.

Payne could be a hella pick up at #23. If he stays healthy and keeps improving his already impressive range he could be a top 10 guy in this draft, easily.
