Following potential 2014 draftees

Defensively I'd say that Parker has better fundamentals but Wiggins athleticism and length (especially at the SG position) will create problems for whoever he defends.

So Wiggins maybe the better defensive player in the end, but Parker isn't a bad defensive player. As long as Parker isn't only an offensive player
I'm not too concerned.

SG/combo

I don't see him as a PG.

He's a PG is spot minutes ala Dwayne Wade (I am not saying that they are the same player or that Exum's game is similar to Wade at all).

Also, the reason that I love Exum is simple, the times that I've watched him he shown a high motor and also an ability to get to the rim/create contact/get to the foul line at a high rate. There is much more to his game but those things really make him high on my list.

Terrific court vision paired with the necessary scoring to keep the defense honest.
Smart player, would love having him as first guy off the bench. Wrote earlier: Younger version of Calderon. More upside and more risk obviously.
I just don't buy the whole "limited upside". That kid is 19 years old, will be 20 by time the draft is. Basically a sophomore, but has faced way tougher competition.
I think he'll get selected late first round as he's not contract strangled afaik.

I have no clue why the play in rose colored shorts. Maybe it's their sponsor's color. My home team plays in magenta jerseys by contract whenever the game is broadcasted. So I don't mind the color.

Interesting take you have on him. Obviously you've watching him much more than I have.

I didn't think that the video breakdown was flattering much at all. He certainly is interesting but I don't know that I would look at him seriously unless he was going in the 2nd round.

I hope that you keep the rest of us updated about his as the season progresses.

I guess the only edge I could have is having watched Eurobasket and the U19 WC in Prague. But I have little to no access to watch Adriatic League Games. And they don't participate in European competitions.
Writing off the developments on his handles at age 19 is premature IMO. He'll get more consistent with growing experience and playing PG with pros at a young age is very difficult to handle for most players. Especially when you're having a pass first mindset. What I probably like the most is that he understands the sets they're playing and knows who's at which spot at most times. That gives him the opportunity to make the best decision and make it look very easy, even though it's not. With improved handles and better strength he'll be even more efficient at passing as he can control angles and timing better.

who would have thought oladipo was going to play some PG

He's looking more and more like a James Harden type player right now...athletic, slasher, 3pt shooter, you play him with a PG, but when the game's on the line you put the ball in his hands and make him a creator off the dribble.

I'm quite impressed by the way the Orlando GM could potentially squeeze out an All Stars from that that draft.

Cleveland has got to be kicking themselves right now for not taking him. Bennett has been horrid so far. Waiters might be faking illnesses right now.

I don't think Waiters fakes anything, but Cleveland might have hurt their talent stock by mentally locking in both their guards long term, when they are not natural fights next to each other(Questionable defense, lack of size(not necessarily height), too trigger happy from deep)
But Bennett was injured during offseason, he's got more than enough time to turn around and finally prove that undersized scoring PFs can be useful.

You mean they should be disappointed for taking a guy that NO ONE thought was a #1. yeah they blew it alright.
