Following potential 2014 draftees

So with regards to the draft, it seems like the first 6 Picks are as follows

1. Wiggins
2. Parker
3. Randle
4. Exum
5. Smart
6. Imbiid

It seems like these players can move 1, maybe 2 spots from this depending on how the season goes, and there aren't many players who have a chance to jump into that top 6. After those 6, then nobody has established themselves as a guaranteed top 10 yet, and could go anywhere from 7-15 or maybe even 20. Is that a fair assessment so far?

Good post.. but obviously things can change greater than what you suggested.

Phone won't let me multi-quote for some reason...

What bigmike said.. why move Hayward to get Aaron when he won't rise above the GSW pick anyway.

Plus, I'm concerned about his defense at this point. Its early, but Young looks like a total stud and Aaron looks like a great college player that's too slow to guard NBA guards.

This blew me away but Young is the real deal

Exum
Smart
Gordon
Embiid

cross-posting these thoughts:

The idea of trading Hayward, pairing the returning asset with the GSW pick just, all so we can take another flyer on a wing......
This is a ****stain idea if I've ever heard one.

Hayward is an above-average defender who can shoot above 40% from 3. His problem right now is that he is trying to do too much. Turn him into an incredibly rich-man's Danny Green.

Well the gist of my proposal is simply to trade Hayward + GSW pick for the best/most upside wing (to pair with either Jabari or Wiggins that we'll get with our pick, .

It's still too tell obviously who that BPA wing will be and what pick we can get in return.

LOL.. watched any Jazz game this year? He's shooting 30% from 3, and less than 40% FG overall.

Trying to do too much? Well he'll have to if he's demanding more than $11m per year!! LOL..
