tl;dr
LOL... that's a code for "get back to work".
You've shown me 3 post ups plays, in 2 of which the defense sucked so hard I could hear them choke all over the Atlantic. The 3rd move was good by PArker, but defense was pretty ****ty as well. Yet it was a good move that could translate against good players.
I'm done with this. Freakin foreigners.
Yeah its a little ridiculous that we are pigeon-holing the games of 18 year olds before they've even finished their freshman campaigns. I think people should use this time to observe, not judge. Just keep things at the back of your mind, try to track any improvement-- and then come forth with some postulations come draft-time.
The jist of it is that BTP is saying that Parker has no post-game, and is unathletic. When he was shown video-evidence of said post-game, he is saying it that it was against poor defense-- conveniently ignoring the fact that Duke has played 5 games (mostly against unranked teams), and the ability to take advantage of poor-defense is a valuable skill; particularly when you take into account that the NBA isn't full of Larry Sanders post-defense savants.
I don't mind BTP either-- he just seems to have this pre-occupation with being 'right' and accusing another poster of being 'wrong'. The tone of his basketball-analyzing posts tends to come across as condescending at times, and its unfortunate because clearly he spends time studying the game.
Lol.
Where to start....
First of all, Parker doesn't NEED a post game to be effective. The fact that he has one at all at this age is awesome.
Secondly, people with no post games can't post anyone, no matter how inferior.
That's why you see so often when announcers are like, "oh, so and so has a mismatch, he needs to go down low and post him up" it's like, no bro that dude couldn't post up my grandma.
If you Cant play in the post, it's pretty obvious.

It's no secret why you wouldn't get the first two initials.
that's true.. all I keep hearing is "too deep".
