Here is Locke's take on Wiggins:

If my son was Andrew Wiggins I would tell him hire an agent and a trainer and train all year for NBA. No way I risk $ by playng in NCAA
He borrowed that from another writers article. Hack'ish. Btw, the article completely ignored the benefits of college. Made some decent points, but not at all balanced.

isnt that len running past noel 10 seconds into this video?

if i was the gms of most of these lottery teams and i got the 1st pick, id take Len in the blink of an eye. no-brainer imo, i have him at 97 grade, Near Tim Duncan, Brook Lopez and Enes but hes the biggest, hes no "Big Z", this kid can run...

You've long been one of my favorite posters. Your content and takes were solid enough that I know your new schtik is to troll.. I'm cool with that.. just not having the time to play along is all.

Thanks for the info.

Hackish?

Yesterday Locke was sooo cool that he talked about how raw Schroeder is, in that 'hey dudes' voice, like he knew what he was talking about. But then also said he'd seen virtually nothing... including the Hoops Summit.

Total Hack, imo. Give me his job and I'm better on day 1.

if Wiggins was my son youd have heard from me already, id be on tv and the radio, angry, talking **** about how my son would have been the rookie of the year and is being prevented from earning a living over a rule that is unjust.

you can argue there should be a buffer zone between highschool and the pros, i get it, it "works" as a whole, but if you took it to a case to case basis on some of these kids, some of them have the proper support groups and have been prepping for the pros their whole life, kyrie was ready and got injured freshman year, noel did worse this year but should be ok, greg oden played a year in college, if he played that year in the nba, it would have been by far his best and he was ready.

Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis, Brandon Jennings, Derrick Rose were OBVIOUSLY ready out of HS.

Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Shawn Kemp and Daryl Dawkins and Moses Malone, were obviously ready out of HS, why has stern decided to keep these type of players out of the league, its a mystery to me

remember when corey brewer left florida early because his mom needed money for medical care, i dont understand why these citizens are being prohibited to earn, when they are supremely skilled, and most of our unemployed are lacking skills, these kids are being prevented from working, its not right. mike tyson was the heavyweight champion of the world at 19 years old, meaning they let him fight the biggest and baddest anyone had to offer, to think we need to baby a player like LeBron James, or Andrew Wiggins, seems counter-productive to me /endrant. k back to work

I agree with many points.. but still think the rule is better than the alternative of wholesale entry to the league.. and a one-up scenarii just dossnt work.. and hopefully I don't have to explain why (think statistics).

In 2013, no age limit means th death of college basketball and poor quality of fresh talent in the pros. The me mentality is peaking and that goes for the entourages looking for their cut. Successful hs jumps were the exception when only a few were doing it. Without the age limit half the first round would be hs players jn todays nba.

Andrew Wiggins will be attending Kansas

Huge news for Jayhawks on Wiggins. As a KU homer I'm ecstatic. With Joel Embiid and Wayne Seldon a fantastic incoming class.
