Following potential 2014 draftees

Like I said, it's pretty hard to put up monster numbers with 6 first rounders on the team.. but Young did have 18pts, 10rbs, 4asts against Louisville.

Holy shiznit! Think I only watched the first ten minutes or so of the game and thought he was underwhelming. Obviously I watched an aberration.

Need more evaluation time, but as of now...

Julius Randle - will get drafted around 4/5. Playing very well. As a freshman leads the nation in double doubles. Beast at 6'9/255lbs.
Huge motor. Competitor. Leader. Range. Handles. Vision.
Needs to improve his right hand dribble and tighten up handles in the post. Best at attacking from the perimeter and once he gets a little momentum he's automatic to score, get to the line, or both. As a PF he's a bit redundant with the current Jazz roster, but he's a pure PF.

Willie Cauley-Stein - should go around 10. Playing very well. Legit 7 footer with fantastic mobility (last game Calipari had him shutting down Louisville's lightening fast guards.. and he had no problem guarding out on the perimeter. Great shot blocker (was recently averaging 6per).
His offense is raw but he is getting better by the game.. hasn't been playing bb for very long as he was an all-state wide receiver in Kansas (can u say legit speed and good hands??)
Being a center he's definitely not a need for the Jazz.

James Young - probably go 14/15. 3&D. Has ability to become a very good defender and has great size to play 2G at 6'7.
He's a career 45% 3pt shooter and I believe he'll get less streaky (only shooting it at 32% so far this season) as the season continues.
Can also rebound the ball very well. Doesn't lack much of anything, just needs some more game time experience.
I think he would be a good fit for the Jazz with his perimeter shooting and defense.

Andrew and Aaron Harrison (they're twins and their games are fairly similar. - both looking at mid to high teens.
Great ball handlers. Great vision. Strong. Andrew would be a nice pick to play with Burke as he's a legit 6'6 PG.. giving us a different look as needed. Both attack relentlessly. Aaron is a great shooter/scorer.
In the high teens either of these guys can be picked up with nice value and used interchangeably as PG/SG.

Thank you for this. Randle looks like the most realistic out of the Core 4-5 we crave. I just hope he is enough of a game changer to help the Jazz core take a leap.
Harrison brothers could be a possibility if the Warriors have an injury. Otherwise they are looking way too good right now. I wonder if we'll look at Poythress for our
2nd round? Can you see him fitting in with the Jazz or helping us out?

Maybe. There some good talentz in the 2nd. Ck out Cory Jefferson, for one.

Gonna be tough evaluating Kentucky seeing as how they don't play anyone until the tournament

I nose ur trollin.. but Florida is #12, iirc .. and we play them twicely.
Tennessee is good.. much better than people realize.
SEC is down but they have 5/6 tourney teams.

So stop the hate.

Just saw the one ranked team left on the schedule and kinda went from there. Possibly 5 tourney teams out of how many total in SEC? Serious question

No one seeded above six, including Kentucky lol

Kidding (but am I)

Back on topic, KU playing today

It's Sunday evening and I'm a little bored. When the guests are leaving I'll do a little bit of research on the accuracy of NBAdraft.net against some other popular mock drafts and see how they perform...
I personally don't like the page because they're exaggerating. When someone who was a dark horse for months somehow has a good week because he has a new girlfriend or whatever may cause him to overperform they'll be the first to take the hype and whore for page views and ad revenue instead of offering quality content.

False.
