Following potential 2014 draftees

LaVine says hes 6'5" with a 6'8" wingspan has a standing vertical of 41" and a max vert of 47" if thats true he will end up in the top 10. if hes close his value is probably fringe lottery.

he can do some of the same things, coming out in the draft Curry was seen as much more of a tweener then he is now. Steph Curry is a tough comparison for shooters but LaVine really does have excellent skill level, hes just hes not in the same league of craftiness with the ball

they are similarly frail but LaVines athleticism is on another level he could dunk as a 5'10" 150lb sophomore in HS. both of their dads were pro athletes, LaVines dad was a linebacker for the Seahawks.

no. he ain't got no elite handles. curry is once every 10 year kinda elite shooter/scorer combo.

When Curry entered the draft, some thought he would be a backup or fringe starter. His ability to be a 1 vs a 2 was questioned, his ability to defend, said he was not really a 1. Average athleticism, frail frame, relies too heavily on his outside shot. Nobody though he would be doing what he is doing today. Basically nobody knew Curry was going to be Curry, so who's to know who the "next" Curry will be?

If he is 6'5, and has a 47'' max, his head should be going well over the rim on dunks, it isn't.

*Probably more like 6'3.75 (barefoot) with a 44.249'' max vertical. My source is Fabtrey.

Sounds about right. He is Austin River sized but with much better hops, but also a worse handle. I don't think he would go lottery, in fact I think his teammate Jordan Adams goes before him if he comes out.

Adams is way way better than Lavine right now, but Lavine has potential, which is why he should stay. I don't think he would be very good in the NBA next year and might hurt himself by not getting enough PT.
