Damn... What is a top 5 pick worth next year? And do the Jazz have the assets/balls to get one?

Guys...
The '13 draft more than ever was very unpredictable. Teams seem to be drafting the "Guy with the best fit" rather than the "Best Player Available".
- In the lotto, Bennett went #1. I don't think you can say he was BPA if we're all honest with ourselves.
- Then you have Gobert slipping, Solomon Hill picked early..etc..
Do you guys see this trend continuing? Can we get a decent player even if we're picking around #10 next year, for example???

Top 5 next year is worth a fortune.. a huge difference in us being a 5th best team vs. a top 3...
If we could get Parker, would Hayward/Burks and our next three first rounders be enough? (Won't need Hayward/Burks if we get Parker)

Some draft sites have him listed as a combo guard. Outside of Wiggins and Parker, who of course will be long gone by the time the Jazz draft, the SF crop seems pretty thin for 2014. Getting a SG in the later stages of the lottery seems a lot more likely.Exum is a SG. Some want to make him a PG... and if anything he's a 1/2 ..not a 2/3.....
but he's a SG according to two VERY good scouts.
If we got the #10, say, I think we'd have to give the 10, Hayward, and two firsts ... and that probably wouldn't be enough to get top 3.
