Following potential 2014 draftees

For those that hadn't heard when I said it earlier.. Poyhtress' problem last year was his dribble. He has all the size, skill, shot, and athleticism to he great (and he's wicked smart)... but he lost confidence earlier in the year because he didn't know his dribble wasn't tight enough until he reached the college level. With every other facet of his game being at a near elite level, he has worked on his handles all day every day since the end of last season with a coach on primarily that one thing. It that gets his confidence back up... you'll see an entirely different player from last year.

A 6'9 strong as an ox SF that is a 40% shooter from nba 3.

I understand but don't pop our bubble to soon. we all want him with the gsw pick not our own. also with all the talent on UKs team touch are going to be hard to come by some one has to suffer.

any ideas what the starting 5 is going to be

Harrison
Harrison
poythress
randle
wcs

maybe?

First off, touches don't have a lot to do with draft stock. Anthony Davis took the 4th number of shots for UK when he went #1 and MKG took the 5th amount and went 2nd. It's widely known you don't have to stuff the stat sheet to get drafted in the lottery.

Starting lineup will likely be;
An Harrison
Aa Harrison
Alex Poythress
Julius Randle
WCS
(hey look, you were right! haha)

First off the bench will be James Young, followed by Dakari Johnson and then Marcus Lee or Jon Hood.

I'm projecting Poythress to get 27 minutes per game.

but for the case of poythress he will need to prove to scouts that last year was an aberration. that means getting some touches. both brow and mkg where primarily drafted on their defense. both where also extremely efficient offensively.

all I am saying is poythress has some things to prove.

Legit question.. I was merely predicting what you'll see.. not suggesting there's any empirical evidence to support it. He was 40+ last year and he has one of those effortless shots.. ya know?

He shot 40% while only shooting when he was wide open, hence why he only had 1 3-point shot a game. Similar to Tony Mitchell last year.

Poythress is the guy who benefited the most from Wiggins not going to UK.

Eric Bledsoe played a game of pickup with the UK guys last week..

He said the Harrisons and James Young were damn good and he had to go 100% against them.... he said, "this year ain't even gonna be fair."

James Young looks like a pretty smooth player. I think Aaron Harrison is going to surprise some people though.
