What's new

Following potential 2014 draftees

The reason I brought that up is Utah would have a MONSTER rotation at the 4/5 with Kanter, Favors, Gobert and Randle. But if we project Gobert as the backup to Kanter and Randle to Favors, the only way that makes sense is if Randle can pick up 12 mins or so at SF. And if that's the case, I say keep all 4 instead of looking to trade a big.

There are so many directions Utah can go in the draft!
I don't see Randle as a realistic option for the Jazz. Likely sandwiched between Parker and An Harrison.. (both needs).. I see him as a player being drafted elsewhere.

If the draft stays the way it is now at the top (Wiggins, Parker, Randle, Exum etc.) and the Jazz had the #3 pick, it would be awfully hard to pass up a talent like Randle. Given the internal debate we heard about some not believing Favors and Kanter can play together, maybe Randle would be the optimal player at PF, with the Jazz then shopping Kanter or Favors.

Have to say I agree... even though it contradicts my earlier statement. Randle may be a clear BPA at that point.

Am I crazy for liking Exum as much as anyone outside Wiggins?

Darft analysis isn't really my thing

You are indeed crazy, but liking Exum is the least of your problems. I think he's just the flavor of the month coming off his performance at the FIBA U-19's. Once college basketball starts, the board will change.

I'm curious to see if Aaron Gordon will be any good.
It's possible he'll be in our range instead of our dream picks.

How do you all feel about a Burke, Hayward, Gordon, Favors, Kanter line up?

im not sure Exum is the best international player in this draft, he should fill out and hes unreal quick/lengthy, he might be one of those players with a bit of trouble adjusting to the physical play, no way he plays PG in the nba, i dont believe that

the killler thing with Exum is he runs like the wind

his skill level is much less than Mario Hez, right now... but any team looking to run, will have Exum near the top of their board, id presume

if exum could shoot 3's id imagine hed be able to go as high as #2

Exum is also the youngest prospect projected to go in this draft. Right now he is 17. That's kind of a big deal.

i actually think he will fall, because his stats shouldent be too inflated on a loaded arizona squad, plus hes going to be viewed as a tweener

i do think measurements will affect this player, his wingspan is long for his body, but this player is actually the same siza as hakeem warrick, with slightly shorter arms

if he measures 6'9" in shoes and a 7' Wingspan, with crazy vert #'s i think that should secure his spot in the top 10, im very interested to see how he plays on the perimeter
