NBA is much more difficult. Can he hit an NBA three so people don't sag off of him? Does he have adequate quickness, handles, and change-of-pace skills necessary to drive the basketball in the NBA? Can he receive the ball on the perimeter and make a quick, accurate decision? Your video analysis of highlights is nice, but no one will really know these things until he plays a season in the NBA most likely.
 
And that's not saying that would be a bad lineup, I'm just saying those would be the biggest problems with a lineup of Randle, Kanter, Favors. And this mostly has to do with Favors lack of a consistent jump shot, Kanters inability to handle the basketball, and Favors and Kanter's inadequacy passing the ball.
 
Julius Randle is Michael Beasley w/o the weed problem (maybe). He reminds me of Terrence Jones. He will be nice but don't think his dominance in college as a tweener 3/4 will translate to the pros.

Randle is more aggressive than Beasley, more athletic, and it seems like he has more of a drive.

Could he be a tweener? I don't think so. He measured in at 6'9 and 250 pounds with a 6'11 wingspan and 8'9.5" standing reach when he was 17/18. Will he grow more? Who knows...but he's definitely got good enough size to play the 4 position, and he's certainly athletic enough to do so.

However like I've said countless times, he's an immense mismatch for other defenders at the 4 position...if you play him at the 3, he's less of a mismatch. Much less. He's not a tweener IMO though.

Here’s the offseason I’d shoot for:

With our own pick, I’d take either Parker or Wiggins.

Then I’d package our GS pick with Kanter and Burks or Burke and try and get as high as possible and take either Exum, Andrew Harrison, or Marcus Smart (in order of preference).

Then I’d slightly overpay Pau to come here for 2-3 yrs, then I’d run out this team:

Pau
Favors
Wiggins/Jabari
Gordo
Exum/Harrison/Smart

I'd rather have Kanter than Pau. I also like Aaron Harrison as the value-pick version of Andrew Harrison in the teens of the draft. I'd love to get Exum though.

If you want to move up for a big you really like then package the GS pick with Kanter, if you like a guard, then you could package it with Burke.
