Following potential 2014 draftees

FWIW, here's a take on Jabari by Givony:

Whichever one he can guard, which at this point is anyone's guess. But offensively? Wow RT @PastorTim33:What position is Parker in the pros?

Stretch four's are all the rage, and Jabari would make a very good one. He would get some abuse at PF defensively like Millsap took.

Millsap didn't take that much abuse, and Jabari would be doing more than camping out and shooting 3s (nobody seems to use the term "stretch 4" when talking about Nowitski).

If Granger has anything left, could sign him to a reasonable deal and put up a fairly potent offensive lineup with Parker at PF.

Favors (defensive anchor )
Parker (3 point bomber/#1 option)
Granger (3 point bomber/perimeter D)
Hayward (3 point bomber/secondary playmaker)
Burke (3 point bomber/primary playmaker)

6th man: Kanter
bench: Gobert, Burks, Rush?, GS 1st rounder

I don't agree with how people pre-determine positions for players. I think the other team's personnel decides where someone plays on offense and defense. It can change from possession to possession. It looks like Parker's weaknesses on defense would be guarding good post-up bigs, and lightning quick wings. So these will likely be the matchups to avoid. On offense, it looks like he can operate from all areas on the floor. Top of the key against bigger guys, and the elbow or block against smaller guys.

I've written a ton about a huge academic/sports scandal at UNC that's been attempted to be covered up... and the NCAA has claimed, "nothing to see here."

Now there's an almost identical one at UL.. fresh with the athletic dept and police dept complicit in a coverup in the last 24 hours...

NCAA is awful. Just let these kids make a little money rather than just using them for massive profits and get over yourselves and the 'purity' of the scholar-athlete.

Why not just make it more like baseball and have multiple professional leagues and not require college?

I've written on this topic extensively and lack the desire to do so again. I will say that I feel my reasons were very persuasive for those readers that asked the same question you did.
