Following potential 2014 draftees

I think I would trade either Kanter or Favors for Embiid. It would give us a legit center, leaving us with an All Star-caliber player at both PF and C. Then with our own pick, take a scoring wing.

It's very early, but yeah, Embiid could very well end up being better than Favors or Kanter. I'll wait a few months before saying that, for sure, though.

I think it's likely that he's better than both Kanter and Favors. Plus he's a real center. He's still raw, but he already reminds me of the Boston Celtic version of KG--a long 7-footer who runs the floor, has great hands, has great timing on defense and makes great passes. If we could get him with our pick and trade one of our bigs for another pick in the top 10, we'd be set.

Here's some Marcus Smart footage. What a special athlete.

With all the upsides commentators are raving about, I just don't like the hectic pace he plays at.

I'd take Burke's slow but measured pace any day.

??? Please explain.

I was mostly joking about the Jazz being able to get another pick to draft the kid. If he keeps playing well he won't be available for the Jazz to pick. If he puts up big numbers, then the Jazz could pick him with their pick but then they miss out on Wiggins/Parker.

I would trade one of the big three to get a chance to draft him. He is cheaper and I believe has a chance to be better than all three of our big three. I was hoping he would be under the radar and the GS pick was another lottery pick so we could package the GS pick with on of the big three to select him.
