a few random points:

-LaVine is #53 on DX's freshman rankings, i cant wait to see that revision

-Andrew Harrison @20 seems like a knee-jerk reaction. 6'5" players with true PG skills are still at a huge premium in the NBA, his game logs leave much to be desired but when when i watch him, he really pushes the ball up the court FAST. shooting more FTA's(5.8) than FGA's(5.4) i think is a telling statistic that he could do more but is getting others involved, its early but hes shooting 44% from 3 on the season if he maintains a near 40% rate id say hes a lock for the lottery. hes gotta work on that ast/to ratio though

-Mario Hezonja out 6-8 weeks with a sprained ankle, i wouldent be suprised if he pulls the same move as Saric last year (try to get a lotto promise, then pull out)

i haz a question for the board, if Wayne Selden drops to the GSW is that a no-brainer?

Hezonja is a fair point. It seems like he isn't ready yet to be a major part of Barcelona. I guess he'll declare next year after seeing around 20 min / game. 2015 = weaker, less deep and I made the comparison with Mirotic since most high profile talents don't play for Madrid or Barcelona. Mirotic had his coming out . This is Hezonja's age 19 season. So he's got time.

It definitely would be interesting if Aaron can keep up his scoring production and can somehow land in the top #10, while Andrew is somewhere around #15 range.

If that's the case, would they both declare?!?! Or would only Aaron declare?!?! Or would they both wait 1 more year?!?!

Honestly if you only go by stats Andrew has been stronger IMO.

I do not see Selden as a no-brainer. Definitely in consideration, but there are others that deserve just as much.

@PKM I can't take the Montrezl thing off my sig until it bothers you or something.

Pls make a comment about it when you get a chance thx.

I would, but I have you on ignore and can't see it nor your request.

Watched the Atlantis Championship game over the week end. Anyone know much about Devyn Marble?

I know he is a Sr. 6-6 SG For Iowa. Looked really good in that game most of the time. Athletic 2 guard with a great jump shot. Was it just one game or could he be a player?

WCS vs. Davis vs. Noel through 8 games. Just wanted to compare the numbers of blocks through their first 8 games and also compare minutes.

Anthony Davis: 36 blocks in 220 minutes
Nerlens Noel: 25 blocks in 245 minutes
Willie Cauley-Stein: 31 blocks in 205 minutes

Should be solid for the Hoks this year. Looks to be better this year, as he's been incredibly inconsistent over his career. Historically has struggled against the better competition. Maybe an improved unit around him will help him a little.

I think Embiid could become the best 2-way center in the league. He's got the talent.

Burke/Hayward/3D guy/Favors/Embiid would be a contender.

I see flaws but most of all championship teams are at least 8/9 deep nowadays. So we'd have to see more than that. Mostly also they have a 6th man who could start for other teams.

Embiid could develop a couple moves that are unguardable--a little fade-away jumper, a running hook in the lane, etc. I think he goes top-3 when it's said and done.

That said, Gobert has an awful lot of potential too. Burke/Hayward/Parker/Kanter/Gobert would also be a contender.
