Following potential 2014 draftees

Not sure what to make of these Exum/MJ comparisons. I like Exum, but I just can't get myself to buy into that kind of hype. Comparing Wiggins to MJ is one thing, but Exum, too?

I still think penny hardaway is the perfect comp for exum..... about the same size and same type of athlete.

I love comps btw.

What about marcus smart being comped to bledsoe? (Eric, not drew)
I have made that comp before but I don't think I remember anyone responding to it. FML :-(

Just saw these highlights from a few weeks ago. The move at the 45 sec mark is crazy.

Two scenarios:

Jazz get #1 and #25

Or

Jazz get #5 and #6
Draft order in this scenario:

Wiggins
Parker
Randle
Smart

What scenario would you take?

Give me Exum and Embiid.

That's tough but I take 5 and 6 as well

I think the entire Atlantic conference is trying to tank:

Atlantic W L

Boston 9 12
Philadelphia 7 13
Toronto 6 12
New York 5 13
Brooklyn 5 14

I would be overjoyed to have exum and embiid. Or any combination of the guys projected to go in the top 7.

Kansas doesn't really create a lot but they move the ball around pretty nice. It's too much to be effective but I think it's good for these kids to get schooled team concepts.

The last part of the first half today it looked like that was all they carded about, moving the ball around the perimeter. They had a shot clock violation and toe other close calls with the shot clock even when embiid came back in.

I mean I don't know too much about college basketball, but in the pro ball you'd respond against a zone when your shots aren't falling differently. Orchestrate the game from the high post. Perry Ellis is a good passer. Have the guy from the weak side get 2 cross screens as the zone repositions, shift the number of players and have that player curl around the 2nd screen, get the bounce pass from the high post and attack the basket for example.
Or simply shift the numbers on the sides and reshift to force a big to help in the corner. Then take him 1v1 and force the help and make plays cause then a zone collapses like the iron curtain.
But that ball movement really gave them 2 options: 1) Take the 3 stepping in in motion which didn't fall or 2) Find the cutter

That's what most teams do against a zone.
