Reading this thread is soooooooooooooooooo depressing!! My god what the hell happened to that beautiful 1-14 start. Remember when we used to talk about Parker and Wiggins, then started saying we needed to watch for that Embiid kid to I'll be happy if we get Gordon.

Life sucks!!!!

Last time I checked there was this lottery thing. And it might be beneficial to have a 8% chance at #1 instead of a 6%. Also increases the chance of a #2 or #3 pick and lets you bottom out higher.

NY has no draftpick -> no incentive.
Detroit has to get 8th or worse in order to have a legit chance at their draftpick. Their players won't tank. Maybe their interim coach? Who knows!

I like players whose only skill is making a lay up. Well I like them if they're 7 feet or taller. Is Jerami Grant 7 feet tall?

Calm down bro, Embiid & Wiggins are beyond our reach anyway (we can't out-tank MIL and ORL).


The next tier is obviously Randle and Jabari, and even PKM would tell you, they have some shortcomings. I'm plenty confident in Dennis Lindsey to either:

1) Draft day move to grab someone great (ala the Trey Burke move); or

2) Diamond in the rough pick (plenty to choose from, Harrison brothers, Vonleh, Gordon, Harris, etc).
