Following potential 2014 draftees

Bitches in the back.

Did you watch Parker this year? He loves taking awful off-balance mid range jumpers despite having the best floor spacing in all of College.

But he is a nice mormon boy so that must mean he is a team player.

He spent some time playing center too. Things will be different for him when he gets to the NBA.

Who he is does matter. Melo thinks he is Lebron and has a poor work ethic. This is the guy that said he would be willing to take less money for a shorter season. Compare that with a kid that you keep hearing good things about. A kid that is very "coachable". I would expect an 18 yr old kid to have poor shot selection. I don't think he will throughout his NBA career.

Aaron Gordon with a better A:TO than Parker despite having the ball less and having less shooters on his team. Gordon is the superior athlete and has the superior intellect. Parker might be better the 1st two years of their careers, but Gordon will eventually surpass him.

Gives pass to Mormon kid who talks good English cuz why not.

Hates on Melo cuz he is smart enough to recognize the NBA season is too long.

Cy, point blank, who do you think ends up with the better career, Parker or Gordon?

If Gordon goes to the right team that will develop him correctly (as in not stick at SF right away and play him mostly on the perimeter) then yes.

Just been really disappointed with Parker. Don't see that much room for growth in his game and he struggles to defend, even in zone schemes. Proclaimed hard worker, but appears to be out of shape?

I would still probably take Parker over Gordon though, just because his offensive game is so advanced for his age and as a GM it would be hard to pass up, but I would prefer this risk of Gordon as a fan.

You do know I'm not mormon right? I'm not a member of the Jimmer fan club. So... yeah throw another "mormon" in there if it makes you feel better.

you think one game will take him from ~12th to ~23rd?

His stock might have been over-inflated at its peak, but there's no way he falls to the GSW pick. You'd have a better chance hoping GSW falls to him.

i always viewed him as 15th-17th range. with guys like Early rising, i thought he could fall to early 20's
