@BTP - Royce has been, is, and always will be, a douche. He may very well have anxiety issues.. but he has constantly found new and creative ways to use it as an excuse to be the biggest, most ridiculous whiny bitch, in the history of the world.

Fair enough. Guess I simply never read the stories where he's abusive towards others. Given his media popularity they should be all over the place if they existed.

I also think if a GM/coach was truly supportive of his medical condition they'd fend off criticism in the media and have his back. From day 1 none had his back in Houston. I think that's a big part why this became such a mess.

They have his back, eventually trust will develop. If it doesn't you know you did everything possible to make the situation work and don't have any remorse and move on.

We haven't the required info to know to what extent Houston supported him. Word I've heard is they tried very hard and went over and above. Obviously can't vouch for that.

Royce from early high school stated that wind sprints gave him anxiety attacks. He blamed swinging at a coach on being due to an anxiety attack. He was initially fine on planes.. but then he had gf troubles one day and suddenly developed fear of flying. He missed the plane, the vame... and then spent that game day stalking his gf.

The list is a mile long.

reminds me of this kid on my HS wrestling team whod fake asthma attacks on the mat whenever he was losing.

Plus Royce is just genuinely a terrible person, read about his 5 baby mamas

since the topic is delusional basketball players... did anyone else see that noted meglomaniac Scotty Hopson, signed a 2 year / 2.8mil contract with the Cavs (second year @1.5mil is team option)

Proud of Hopson doe. Worked on his game in Europe getting paid proper money (not some D-League scrub) and got rewarded with a contract.

Ehhh, don't buy it. The guy has some kind of genuine mental problem. What sane person would purposely throw away a multi-million dollar NBA career? If he was a truly horrible person, he would do just enough to scrape by with the Rockets to get his checks.
