It's weird…his Euroleague stats were dramatically better than his stats in Turkey. 11 games is just too small of a sample size IMO.

since the topic is delusional basketball players... did anyone else see that noted meglomaniac Scotty Hopson, signed a 2 year / 2.8mil contract with the Cavs (second year @1.5mil is team option)

Hopson was shooting 49% from 3 in turkey

I remember pimping Hopson last summer league as a guy to watch! Was disappointing though.
Just looking up his stats I see he's had a disappointing 13 games in Turkey and outstanding 11 Euroleague games so far. Weird.

Only a matter of time before Hopson blows up.

Proud of Hopson doe. Worked on his game in Europe getting paid proper money (not some D-League scrub) and got rewarded with a contract.

Ehhh, don't buy it. The guy has some kind of genuine mental problem. What sane person would purposely throw away a multi-million dollar NBA career? If he was a truly horrible person, he would do just enough to scrape by with the Rockets to get his checks.

That's easily one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA, even if Corbin isn't our coach.

Favors, and possibly Hayward are the only plus defenders in that entire lineup.

I think gordon will be a good defender

And grow a few inches and become faster and more athletic

Basically what this tells me is that Embiid, Smart, Gordon and WCS are all really good at defense. Randle and Parker are below-average, and McDermott is horrible.

Just curious how wiggins defensive rating compares to these guys
