Following potential 2014 draftees

Don't know how reliable.. but was told that Jabari called an announcement date not thinking about it being on the eve of Duke's annual banquet. Coach Kryziezgkvsy asked him to postpone as to not create a distraction for the banquet.

If true, he's declaring.

fun fact:
a former neighbour of mine's name is Krzyzewski.

Also Jabari wouldn't be a lock by any means next year to be #1. If the first to pick wants to go big there's some intriguing players and if Parker isn't able to expand his game and both immediately and steadily improve his weak spots he's going to still "only" top3 with the option that some bigs totally impress and bring their stock to the next level.
Mudiay will also be up there. Huge talent.

Yes. In my opinion, he only stays to 'improve his game' and/or play for a title.. not to improve his stock.

And, yes, I could see Mudiay potentially going #1.. kind of reminds me of Wall.

I actually think that NBA scouts and executives are smart enough to realize that improving the game means improving/keeping the stock.
With improving his stock I'd mean some fishy scheme where you always try to hide Jabari in a zone with a lot of switching and try to let his only defensive responsibility be funneling players into Okafor 1v1 and taking their shots/sweetspots away.
Because Jabari has even more sleep deprivation than Alec Burks and it shows in his team defense/BBIQ. Everyone hoped he'd be an okay off ball defender so he could rest vs the less talented forward on defense and get off on offense.
Also bad passer. That would be a huge point of emphasis if he can improve these aspects.
Now hire Beilein's assistant to install a zone defense 40 min a game so none can tell if Jabari is still horrible on defense...Or you simply hire Mike Woodson, because that's basically what the Knicks been doing all year long.

The thing that seperates Mudiay from Wall IMO. No hyper inflated ego. Plays defense.
On offense they're pretty similar in their playstyle right now. Guess Wall is a little more 'electric'.

ya gotta love how he passes the ball... really not a fan of his shooting but Evan Fournier was a 27% 3pt shooter in the french leagues and is now almost 39% in the NBA, so i guess there's hope
