Mo would immediately be our best on-ball defender. there was actually a Magic win vs OKC this year where he defensed Durant into a 1-7 fourth quarter
Just threw it out there because hes probably a better 3 and D candidate than anything you will find at 23 in the draft, prototype size, great athlete, 38% from 3 this season, turns 21 next month. maybe the Magic would move him to clear a spot for Wiggins.

I wouldn't be surprised if the jazz do use the gsw pick that it is a draft and stash player like hezonja.

Or assets in a trade to get a very good veteran. Jazz have a ton of cap space; there might be a team looking to move a good veteran in order to free up salary room.
Hezonja first has to enter the draft which he 90% won't do.
agree! I also often expect players who appear smart off the court to be smart on the court. This assumption doesn't always work somehow.
Not sure if you're defending Corbin's defensive rotations...
BUT consider this:

In this year the Bulls had a 25yr old Deng, Brewer, Gibson, Noah, 22yr old Rose, 29 yr old Boozer and Korver, 30yr old Bogans, 38yr old Kurt Thomas, 26 yr old CJ Watson, 24 yr old Asik.
Not exactly a veteran team IMO. I'd say that Corbin is a horrible coach and won't make any excuses. No matter who you have on your roster, you're not the 2nd worst defensive team in the league when there's multiple teams tanking on purpose with a 111.3 DRtg. No matter how bad your individuals are defensively it's the coach's responsibility to diminish these weaknesses and find options to stay competitive on this end. Defense is the biggest impact a coach can bring.
Trevor Ariza was a 2nd rounder in the 2004 NBA draft. he had a 2 yr contract initially. He was traded in his 2nd year at the deadline to the Magic. In his last season with the magic he upped his game significantly earning himself a 3 year extension worth $3.1M annually.
He pretty much stagnated following his extension in his first year and regressed in his 2nd year and was traded midway through to Los Angeles. In LA he upped his game immediately under the bright lights in the city of angels. After being part of the 2009 NBA championship as a fringe starter 25mpg guy he was like: 'FK staying ima take the richest offer' and ultimately signed a $34M/5yr offer from Houston.
With his pocket full of cash he opted for more holidays and his ORtg took a 13pt hit in his first season in Houston.
Next summer he was traded to New Orleans. He was even worse for them than for Houston. He got his defense back up a little but his scoring stay horrible over the course of 2 seasons that he stayed in NO. He was traded to the Wizards in 2012.
His first Wizard year he was basically the same no show he was in New Orleans and Houston. But then in the summer of 2013 his agent informed him that he was in a contract year again. And with the help of a well renowned Wizard he worked his way thru the 2013 offseason and after 4 horrible no show years offensively with a ORtg of 97-102 well below the league average he miraculously posted a 113 ORtg over the 2013/2014 season in addition to his always solid defense. He added the ability to knock down a high volume of 5.8 3 pointers per 36min at a respectable 40.7% clip. At age 28...
So now this Trevor is headed into free agency. He'll want to use his bird rights to score a 4 yr extension with the Wizs that will make the team very sorry at the end of his contract as his athleticism is already declining. Other teams have a MLE for a 3yr offer at hand. And then there's the question: Is he going to coast once he has that tract in his pocket?
I don't wanna take that risk. So even if Mo Harkless can't score consistently yet, I'd rather have him... Or Luol Deng who costs significantly more but at least is a locker room leader and stuff.

I think its safe to say Luol Deng would cost the Jazz about 4 years 56Mil
Chicago apparently valued him at about 7-8Mil before the year, he turned down 3 years 30 mil and was traded shortly thereafter. Rumored to be looking for a contract in the ballpark of Iguodala and Josh Smith
