how about #23 and #35 for Mo Harkless ?

If we are trading the 23rd pick I would hope we get a player more ready to contribute than Mo Harkless.

Mo would immediately be our best on-ball defender. there was actually a Magic win vs OKC this year where he defensed Durant into a 1-7 fourth quarter
Just threw it out there because hes probably a better 3 and D candidate than anything you will find at 23 in the draft, prototype size, great athlete, 38% from 3 this season, turns 21 next month. maybe the Magic would move him to clear a spot for Wiggins.
Trevor ariza fits that bill also
the issue with Trevor Ariza is why is he going to leave a playoff team for Utah
I wouldn't be surprised if the jazz do use the gsw pick that it is a draft and stash player like hezonja.

Still not sure why we automatically assume Parker is a "smart" player. Are smart players that awful on defense, have that poor of shot selection, and have that bad of an A:TO ratio (on a loaded 3pt shooting team too)?
Skilled player with good size, yes.
Smart? The jury is still out.
Also you have to be blind to not realize how bad Kanter has been on defense his first 3 years. Yes, he showed some glimpses of being able to play something that resembles NBA defense at points his sophomore year, but those moments where few.
Burke was just awful on defense too. Didn't do a great job of contesting shots, containing ball handlers, AWFUL at getting around screens, etc.
Corbin might not be a defensive mastermind, or even an average defensive coach, but he wasn't given much to work with defensively besides Favors. Yes, I know team defense is the most important, but I don't know of many coaches who could take a team so young and teach them proper team defense.
Yes, but he also would cost much more money and must actually sign with us.
I think its safe to say Luol Deng would cost the Jazz about 4 years 56Mil
Chicago apparently valued him at about 7-8Mil before the year, he turned down 3 years 30 mil and was traded shortly thereafter. Rumored to be looking for a contract in the ballpark of Iguodala and Josh Smith
