Following potential 2014 draftees

And you can determine that how?

By virtue of the fact that Saric is primarily a pass-first perimeter-oriented player. And by virtue of the fact that he lacks the athleticism to be much of an offensive force in the lane. He won't draw a double or be able to score over the defense...not ideal for a PF.

If you draft Saric, you're basically conceding that your #1 offensive option is going to be someone else.

I'd take a 6-4 220lb scoring pg over a 6-0 190lb scoring guard. If we draft Smart, let them duke it out, may the best man win.

I think Smart's game is going to be drive (i.e., bulldoze) and kick. He's not going to bother to cross people up. He'll just lower the shoulder and head for the paint.

too bad it looks like Saric, Nurkic, Capela, Porzingis, Micic, Bogdanovic, Tavares, Inglis, Jokic, Klimenko wont be at the combine

Wasn't someone, a couple hundred pages back, asking for proof that Wiggins head was at the rim when dunking and what not?

Well, I found some proof.

Just wanted to share this dunk by some player too, reminded me of Aaron Gordon.

Really? Saric put up 17 ppg (which from a pure scoring perspective, is very good in Europe) with solid efficiency at age 19/20. I see him more as a scorer and rebounder who can pass. Also, you say he lacks athleticism to be an offensive force in the lane, but he got to the FT line a ton in the Adriatic league.

Solid post all around, I like Saric a lot. I'd snatch him up around pick ten or so, but could change.
