Following potential 2014 draftees

Brehs if u see any articles on Noah Vonleh from 2010-2012, you will read about a 6'7" point forward that brings the ball up the court vs a press

His handle is advanced for a player of his size/age, as ive posted before his HS coach said hed pay the price of admission just to watch him work dribbling drills

“Wait ‘til the NBA guys get a real good look at him. Imagine him, running through those ball-handling drills for them. They’re going to be stunned.”

I dont care to make excuses for him as his body of work speaks for itself, but to kill him over aggressiveness is a bit of a headscratcher to me when his role was setting screens and rebounding (not creating offense), he had 7 games of 10FGA's or more, thats it.

when considering Noah in the NBA i think what has to have the most appeal is his potential to be one of the premier P+R and Pick and Pop guys, which i dont think would qualify him as a "#1 option" but itd be close, was Chris Bosh in Toronto was a #1 guy? I think in the NBA you need a viable inside and an outside scoring punch to be viable, Noah could definitely fill one of those rolls

I'm finally coming around to liking this kid. If he's BPA, and we draft him, I'd hope they have a Kanter trade in place.

if he has grown as listed id think theres a legit chance he still may grow another inch too, that was one of the few things i had to say about Giannis in last years thread this one is a bit more of a guess but hes very young. his family is similarly tall like Giannis though, thats his 6'3 mom, his little sister is 6'3 also

im really waiting on his measurements, but i have a hunch he wouldn't have re-classified from the 2014 to the 2013 HS class unless he was going to measure well.

Why?
A team needs 4 bigs. Vonleh is raw, so he'll come off the bench initially. No need to trade anyone until the deadline. Better to let Kanter increase his value before pushing him out the door.
Give Kanter and Favors 30 mins; 25 to Vonleh; 10 to Gobert. And that doesn't account for injuries or foul trouble. Odd man out would be Evans. I like Jeremy, but he's just not a regular rotation player unless he either bulks up (virtually impossible) or can play SF (unlikely).

I think the real issue with the Jazz is determining if Hayward can play SF.

I watched Indiana quite a bit last year, and I would put Vonleh's "motor" questions squarely on the shoulders of his selfish dumb *** PG. They never tried to work Noah into the offense, but when he would get lucky and get a few touches early he would have a great game.

Would be ok with Exum, Pass on Porzingas .....

This is what DX has said for the Jazz:

4 Utah Jazz
Dante Exum PG
18 years old; 6'6"; 188 lbs.
Australian Institute of Sport, International

While Exum will want to get drafted by a team that will let him play his natural position of point guard, a backcourt of him and Trey Burke (a Top-10 pick last year) could absolutely work together depending on the coach Utah decides to hire. Most teams have seen very little of Exum over the years, but Utah's scouting department, headed by Nike Hoop Summit World Team architect Rich Sheubrooks, doesn't have that problem. Julius Randle can't be ruled out here, as playing him together with Derrick Favors could work and may be one way to help shore up what was the NBA's worst defense last season.

23 Utah Jazz (From Golden State Warriors)
Kristaps Porzingis PF/C
18 years old; 7'0"; 220 lbs.
Sevilla, International

With their second first rounder, Utah can afford to swing for the fences a bit on a talented physical specimen with upside like Porzingis who needs a few years of seasoning (and work in the weight room) to be ready to play in the NBA.

Has anyone else noticed that

Dante Exum and
Dental Exam

look similar? I thought it was interesting.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid watching Dante Exum try to play in the NBA might be very similar to undergoing a dental exam.

Did anyone else notice that DX has the Spurs draft LaVine? That sounds like a great pick for them. They can develop him slowly and he could turn out to be great with their system.
