What do u make of young??

as far as his combine? he didnt participate in shooting or athletic drills so theres not too much. I was hoping for a better vertical than 35½" but thats plenty, a 7' wingspan, 213lbs and 5.3% body fat... his numbers are basically spot on Xavier Henry's

Here is an easy way to compare all three of these guys:

Im pretty scared of embiid right now too.

I heard that his agents are trying to manipulate what team he goes to and are only allowing certain team doctors to check him out

Embiid might be the next Oden. He hasn't played since March 1st, and correct me if I'm wrong, didn't the injury require surgery? IMO, the risk of drafting him is just too great. Maybe he becomes the next Olajuwon. Or maybe he never plays a game - or has back issues that hamper him for his entire career. Jazz can't afford to choose a bust in this draft. If I were DL, I'd take Embiid off my draft board.

Dante Exum's ¾-court sprint time was faster than Chris Paul's, Stephen Curry's and Damian Lillard.

Noah Vonleh has the biggest hands in the draft.

Zach LaVine is the only player to finish in the top-10 in every category (lane agility, shuttle run, ¾-court sprint, standing vert and max vert).

I read somewhere that his injury was pretty common and that other players like davis has had it too.

Re: the three players who skipped the combine.

Wiggins - as the consensus #1, had nothing to gain by going

Parker - who knows if he's put on 15-20 pounds. Whether he has or hasn't, the combine simply isn't where he shines. He's have a slow sprint, a slow lane agility, probably a less than impressive vertical, body fat wouldn't look good. Dude is a lock for top 4, probably near lock for #2. The combine isn't his cup o' tea.

Embiid - he's the one I worry about. If he's healthy, goes to the combine, comes in at a legit 7' or 7'1", long wingspan, jumps and runs well and proves he's in great health, he might have a shot at stealing Wiggin's #1 slot. My gut has always been, and with him missing the combine, I feel even more strongly that dude isn't healthy. I love Embiid's size, athleticism, toughness, demeanor - everything. But I don't what anything to do with an injured big man.

Teams will measure him and stuff. Just looking bad for the public. Nothing else. If you also have listened to any Embiid interview ever the agent might have been inclined to not let him interview with teams yet for obvious reasons.

His athletic testing was really underwhelming. In line with his performance all year. I still wonder where his athletic highlights out of highschool came from. Doppelgänger?

Would make sense. If I grew up in Cameroon I think I wouldn't like Wisconsin too much... :p

Also surprised how bad Jordan Adams athletic numbers were as well as TJ Warren's and DeAndre Daniels'. (I also don't put too much weight into athletic testing)

I think I'd take Dante Exum and try to trade Trey Burke for someone else next year unless unrealistic meteoric rise.

I'm more in line with your thinking. He's either #1 or #2 on the board because the GM is extremely confident there are no health issues or he's not on the board for the lottery pick at all. If you aren't supremely confident in his health, you simply can't afford the risk.
