Following potential 2014 draftees

**** off.

Im only responding to these imbeciles, dont act like its unprovoked
hey bro i aint got no dog in this fight. just callin it how i see it.

you seem to be the common denominator.

You always have the choice to turn the other cheek and take the high road when someone provokes you.... you just never seem to make that choice. kinda seems like you are happy that people call you out so that you can use that as a reason to talk about your accomplishments.

again, just callin it how i see it

Im not the type to throw a stone then hide my hand. It is what it is.

Im not a bully, I dont feel as if ive gone out of my way to mention anyone on this board unprovoked, unless its in response to something posted thats candidly incorrect.

Dream just taken away like that.

Poor kid. At least in the article, the coach says he hopes Austin can finish his degree, then come back as a coach. So he has a job lined up. Shows you how thorough the medical tests are for players. I didn't know they did DNA testing.

This story has totally ruined my Sunday.

Good thing too, I wonder if there were signs that something was up (reason he'd fallen out of the top 60 last month) and then they get exact results. But being told you can't play the game that you love and what you've worked for, for so long would just be so devastating. I'm glad they have that option for him. Maybe he'll be able to move up the ranks in coaching and get to the NBA a different way.

the loss of Isaiah Austin can only help Walter Tavares.

the Centers are taking a beating this year.

In DX's latest article "situational statistics: the 2014 center crop" i was suprised to see,

-Walter Tavares ranks as easily the lowest usage player on this list, averaging only 5.8 possessions per-game, but the center's small role also affords him tremendous efficiency, as he leads this group scoring 1.093 points per possession overall. The 7'3 Tavares seldom gets a touch in the post, averaging a sample-low .5 possessions per-game on the block, but he ranks among the top-3 most efficient scorers on rolls to the rim and put backs. Unlike some of the players on this list, Tavares was already being asked to do essentially the same things he would in the NBA a year ago. He doesn't try to do too much one-on-one or away from the basket, as his role revolves around his ability to use his size to rebound the ball and finish the shots created for him by others inside. Tavares is not a glamorous prospect, but he has showed improvement throughout the year in his ability to contribute as a roleplayer in the ACB, and this study doesn't even start to analyze the contributions he's expected to make as a rim-protector or rebounder, which are arguably his biggest strengths.

PG_AB you give some good takes bro but leaving because the Jazz don't draft who you want them to is absurd. DL knows more about them then you do and we need to trust that he will make the right pick.

Don't say you are a fan of this team because you aren't. You are a fan of a couple of players on this team nothing more nothing less.

If Aaron Gordon's the pick ill keep an eye on the Jazz, but ill retire from this board and switch my fandom elsewhere. I've been trying to to find candidates for the next team. Ive whittled the list down to 5;

Orlando, Philly, Sacramento, New Orleans and Atlanta.

You sound like Thriller with all of this "I'm gonna leave if they draft so and so" crap.

Haha. getting a bit defensive, eh?

What part of 'its not about one pick, it has plenty to do with last years pick, and the usage of some of my favorite players', are you having trouble with?

I like the idea of being on another teams message board, starting a thread about why they need to offer Burks a poison pill contract next off-season. Or maybe Kanter depending on how he does next year.

Im a fan of the Jazz, have been since the day Tyson Chandler was traded to the Knicks, I like some players more and some less than others, which would be the case with any team I choose to root for.

I was a Knicks fan for most of my life, but hated Jared Jeffries, I didnt like Landry Fields at all, thought it was crazy they took him over hometown kid Lance Stephenson, does that make me a fan of a couple players, I guess so.

Am I a die-hard Jazz fan? absolutely not, and I've never claimed to be.
