Patty Mills?

Seriously guys?

Patty is great where he's at. He comes off the bench and becomes Eddie House for 15 mins.

Patty as a starting PG? Will clearly become the scapegoat for all of our losses next year.

If you expect Patty to become a really good pg as a starter for the Jazz, then You'll be sorely disappointed.

Some guys, are just 100x better as 6th men than they ever were as starters... Bobby Jackson, Eddie House, Howard Eisley, Jarret Jack, JJ Barea, Manu Ginobli, Jamal Crawford, Patty Mills...

I strongly agree with this.

Except Manu would be good no matter what role they had him play. I'm mainly just agreeing with what you said about Mills.

Manu has been played for most of his career as a starter... He comes off the bench but plays big mins especially in the 4th qtr. and I agree, Manu would be good at anything (when healthy).

However, I think Patty needs to come off the bench and play in a certain system. He rarely creates for anyone. In fact, I don't think I've ever see him initiate the offense. However, like Terry and House, he's an amazing finisher.

Personally, if I'm Patty, unless I get a significant raise elsewhere, I'm staying in SA. It's a great situation. Come in for 20 mins, launch a few 3s, low pressure, everyone loves you, and play deep into the playoffs.
 
So then how the hell is using Burke to get the player we want in this draft, then replacing him with Patty Mills a bad move?

Patty Mills shoots ****ing Reggie Miller %'s.... Trey Shot 38% from the Field and 30% from 3...

Do ya know how much money its gonna cost to replace favors in Free Agency? Ask Marcin Gortat.

wanna know how much its gonna cost to replace what Alec Burks can bring to the table next season? ask Lance Stephenson.

Trey is easily replaceable, Patty Mills was my 4th option at PG this offseason

Patty is cool but I'm not sure he'd run a team better than Burke. I think we need to see more Burke P n R before we give up on him. I'd probably trade Burke for pick 7 or 8 just cause its a good value but I wouldn't think its a steal. PGs second years are crucial... I think after this year we'll know for sure what Burke will be.

I'd do the Burke and 5 for number 1 though... I'd also drive trey and Ronda to the airport
