Following potential 2017 draftees...

Maurice Watson Jr.'s injury means Ball is likely to finish leading the nation in assists. Watson could've beaten him tho.

This changes #7 Creighton's gameplan drastically (18-1) Coach McDermott will figure something out but ultimately this will be much tougher for Justin Patton now moving forward. If he somehow can carry this team his stock can only go higher...

Awesome showing from Wenyen Gabriel!! He's been everywhere. It's crazy that DX doesn't even have him in the top-40 of the 2018 mock

Brent Musberger really likes Isaac Humphries... Was comparing him to Bogut

As far as 2017 or with the Jazz I think I prefer Isaac Haas (at this point)

THE JAZZ SHOULD TAKE WENYEN GABRIEL -- Good player to add to a playoff team, he's $$$$$$$$$. Perfect attitude for this team. Better version of (The infamous) Al Farouq Aminu.

Next to bigs like ours his energy would flash constantly

Isaiah Briscoe is back into the 2nd rd range but he's pissing me off in this game, I see flashes of tunnel vision. His legs are enormous for a PG -- How many PG's or G's for that matter in the league have legs like that? He's built like a rugby player.

Lamar Peters and Kegler with a great showing for MSU. They've got several pros on the team with Q Weatherspoon and Herrard, I think Tyson Carter may have a chance too. Good young team the SEC is about to get MUCH tougher these next few years..

Kegler is EASILY in the best shape I've seen him in. Which is a good sign.

This team is a bunch of hotheads though ---- I'm sure Briscoe was talking tons of **** tho.

How high does Fox go? If that dude is 6'3" - 6'4", I'd have him as a top 5 lock, maybe top 3. He not far from Wall at the sane stage if he's behind Wall at all.

There are things i like about DSjr over Fox, but gun to my head, i think i go D'Aaron.

I think he could go second but I'm very high on him.. Not saying there will be some miraculous 1-season turnaround with his 3pt percentage but I'm certain he's not this bad either. He'll shoot better for teams in workouts than they expect like Lyles..

Yeah and he just got **** on by Lamar Peters, a real boss.

Yeah, his shot is solid. I don't worry about it much either.

Here's a question for draftniks - you have to draft one of Josh Jackson or Jonathan Isaac? Who do you go with? I love the way Jackson plays the game, the competitiveness is unparalleled by any other prospect in this year's draft. One of the best defenders in college, one of the better wing passers in college... With that said...

I'm scarily close to flipping my vote to Jonathan Isaac. The kid just seems to have really really good potential. His shooting stroke looks smooth(unlike Jackson's). He seems to be a smart player, makes the right plays most of the time and his size and length are awesome. His defense has been pretty good, too. I probably still give Josh Jackson the slight edge, but they are probably closer to me than to most people I've read and listened to.

Issac is a real wildcard. I would take both Jackson and Anunoby over Jonathan Issac right now. I worry about Issac's toughness and foot speed as a wing, though I need to watch him more. He's better in that regard than Quincy Miller, but I've been fooled before.

OG has a higher floor, and just as much upside imo. With OG, I know I'm getting a prototypical 6'8" athletic wing with skill and toughness. I can point to a bunch of similar players who dominate the league.

I think he's being overlooked and underrated due to the other PGs in the class and the amount of attention that Monk has been getting. I think he's as impactful as any young PG other than Fultz and Ball. He knows how to run a team and can do just about everything at 6'4".
