What's new

Following potential 2017 draftees...

Simisola ****tu has reportedly grown to 6'10". Brought him up a while back when they were calling him the best canadian prospect since Wiggins.

Different skillsets but same type of obvious lotto pick as Jayson Tatum

He runs at warp speed too.. Will be one of the fastest forwards in the league.

@GoodmanESPN
NC State's Mark Gottfried will not return next season, source told ESPN. Will finish out the season.

Interesting to see what Yurtseven does. There will be transfers too.

Williams is the type of player that will get many "Mama there goes that man again" calls from Mark Jackson.

Moritz Wagner is easily good enough to be a priority 2nd rd pick this year IMO. He's the type of player who could really blow up if Michigan gets into the tournament with a good draw. Actually could see him working himself into the first rd in 2018...

Happ's going at him and has 4 assists already. Wagner is ultimately the better prospect though IMO he's shootign 58% from the floor and 42% from 3 on 2.4attempts per..

Robert Williams is a highlight factory; he flashes in an effortless fashion at such a high frequency it's remarkable.

To me he's more athletic than Michael Beasley or as I've said before Marquese Chriss (who i'm still staunch should've gone top-5 and is having some nice games lately) Those players have more utility, the key is though that Williams is vastly more punishing and imposing defensively and on the boards (in sort of a Prime-Favors or Kenyon Martin type of way).

Even though they've adjusted their mocks and put him in the lottery i'm gonna still say he's underrated.

did you see Wagner put Happ on his *** tonight? not everyday you see a big man do that. just didn't bury the three, though he hit one in Happ's face the next time down.

If Williams was a a little bigger it would help his stock, as he could be legitimately labeled a center. He is in the PF/C "tweener" zone like Favors, Capella, KAT. They are playable at center, but cannot anchor a top NBA defense like Gobert, Gasol, and Jordan can. Playing him at PF means your committing to a non stretch PF, a hard sell in todays NBA.

He isn't a tweener lmao, he is a PF. He is 6'9 with a giant wingspan. Why are you calling him a tweener when he has ideal PF size?

I didn't mean it in the classic sense, skillset wise he is inbetween positions of a PF and center. A PF without three point range is a dinosaur. A 6'9" center simply cannot anchor a top defense.

No they aren't lmao. There are still plenty of relevant 4's without 3pt range. He is young, a lot of time to develop.
