Following potential 2017 draftees...

We need a guy who can provide energy, hustle play and toughness. Jordan Bell is a pretty good candidate.

Man, one thing about this draft is that there are a lot of very fluid big men in the 2nd round. Oliver/Kuzma/Bell/Wilson are all dudes who really impress me with their ability to get up and down at their size.

This team is loaded with SOFT, SLOW and OLD players. That's why we are only good at playing at a slow pace. It's time to change that.

I haven't seen Lessort in many games but I'm inclined to believe he's got more upside than Bell. Do u see the hands on this kid, look at the stillframe.... Lessort would've been super dominant in college this season, it's absurd to think otherwise.

These types of players, U'd think I'd go back to Ben Wallace, he's an epic example. To me I always go back to Joey Dorsey tho. and I think Lessort passes the Joey Dorsey test better than Bell, who I suspect is more fit to have trouble with his game tranlating to the big leagues.

It's interesting U say Chris Bosh. there's certainly SOME parallels. I'm not sure if people really remember Bosh at Georgia Tech and furthermore his HS days, which to me proved beyond the shadow of a doubt - that he was a winner, and played winning basketball.

Now thats a very tall order to put on Harry, Bosh's outside touch is far greater. There's some real parallels there for sure tho.

Bosh was very explosive when he was younger -- 6'10", very lean. Giles shows more handle and passing than young Bosh.

Bosh was every bit of the franchise player that some had him billed to be. Giles is not that, he's just a sophisticated piece to the puzzle. He can be great in his role tho, or at least I think so.

If he turns out anywhere as close to as good as Bosh, wich is unlikely, get your popcorn ready tho because it'd really be ****ing glorious to see in real-time, he's got some tricks up his sleeve, for sure.. I wouldn't underestimate him. His value has been destroyed tho. He's now gotta pick up the pieces himself, with the help of his new team, I don't think he's gonna crumble or even blink at that undertaking tho, he's a good kid. He gets "it", just like Bosh always did. Same can be said for Ivan Rabb..

So yeah, he looked quite awesome in high school...

Starting at 1.20, those crossovers are something Favors and Lyles certainly can't do. Not sure if his injuries zapped some of that super agility away though.

You mean cross someone over and carry the ball against their stomach? You sure they couldn't do that?

I'm sure Favors couldn't. He didn't have that type of refined game at that stage, he was an alpha beast around the rim and extremely raw..

Also if you haven't noticed carry's don't get called all the time.. Hoidberg calling out Thomas was a great moment in these playoffs, it was eloquently said, and in fact, the truth. Iverson carried the ball all the time too. Shaq's response to Hoidbergs comment was PERFECT too. He said little guys get away with this, Muggsy Boggues he called out AI.. It's the truth. there's a severe double-standard.. Thats why I laugh at anyone who tries to talk about Wilt Chamberlain and downplay his greatness due to the competition he faced, thats a joke, and he put Shaq, and Michael Jordan, in their place before he passed too.

Wait til you see this kid Marvin Bagley the third.. He's lefty too.. As much as Giles is a good prospect, he can't even hold a candle next to Marvin... who's a true franchise player and will be the #1 pick in the 2019 draft.

Marvin is an elite athlete by all measures too. He runs like the wind, will be utterly unstoppable on the break..

Yeah, I know, but I'm sure at some point in Favors AAU career he probably crossed someone up who had no business being in the same game as him.

A lot of things to like, and how they would fit into our team.

I've been crying from the rooftops for those three attributes you named all season. It's clear our team lacks juice. This kid or someone like him will get good looks in our offense. If he can defend, and grab boards with an edge he will find playing time. I'm ready to move on from Lyles.

Diaw, Lyles, and a hobbled Favors aren't going to get it done. We need some fire to play along Rudy. THAT will take this team to another level.
