Following potential 2017 draftees...

DE has us taking Jordan Bell with the 42 pick. I see 2 problems with that selection:

No guys named Jordan should be allowed on this team.

No more guys named Bell should be allowed on this team.

I'm kinda Hoping Johnathan Motley falls to us at 42. Then when he starts to break out as the steal of the draft, we can have a section of die-hards in the cheap seats called the Motley crew.

Chad Ford is saying that DJ Wilson's feedback from NBA workouts has been positive. However, I think the only team Wilson worked out for so far is the Jazz, meaning the Jazz gave him positive feedback. Am looking to see if he worked out for other teams.

Ford now has Wilson at #27 on his big board.

Seems like he's worked out with the Jazz and the Spurs and has met with the Pistons.

Comparing Bam to Favors is ludicrous.

Bam was a 4th/5yh option who showed zero offensive game.

Favors was a primary option, who was raw but actually impacted the game. Also showed far more skills than Bam. I don't understand how somebody who watches basketball can compare them. Watch games, not highlights. Don't compare just off of physical attributes.

I'm with Catchall on Adebayo. I think he's severely underrated. I'd take him with any of our picks easily. To me he's a lottery talent without a question. I personally would probably have him around top 10 when it's all said and done.

He's just a terrible fit with the Jazz. Sorry, at best he is a 15 mpg backup to Rudy. He would never play next to Rudy in our system. Just not someone with a high enough ceiling for the Jazz to take in the first round IMO.

That's very fair. But we are talking about no. 24 pick. If we get a beast of a backup to Rudy, that's quite alright. I'm still taking BPA. I don't care if he's going to have to back up Rudy.

So Bam put up equal or better stats than Derrick Favors as a 4th or 5th option? Sounds encouraging.
