Earlier in the year, I liked OG more than Tatum....then Tatum started playing much better and OG got injured. I agree he could be really good. My question was whether he was assertive enough.

The shooting is a bigger question than the injury to me and I agree the ft shooting is troubling. I've heard good things about his attitude and just think he could be a Kwahi type.
Also, I think his finishing ability is going to be elite. Shot like 70% from the field. I just think in the 10-14 range he's a guy who could be a home run in the Kwahi, Giannis type mold. His game doesn't necessarily compare to those two now, but just in the fact that he has the right body, attitude, and has some things he can do that are elite already. I think he's got a good floor as well... a Mbah a Moute type with more athleticism.
Finding the guy that fits that role seems to open up so much for teams.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind taking a shot at him with any of our picks. The potential is really tantalizing. I wouldn't mind any of the players in that tier.
I am looking at the Charlotte bobcats as a potential trade partner. Looking at their roster for next year and they don't have a lot of holes
PG - Walker and they own a team option for sessions at $6.2 mil
SG - the have Batum locked up long term with Lamb (playing ok) and Belinelli
SF - MKG and then Batum (this is one need is some depth here
PF - Marvin Williams (one of my favorite previous jazz men)christian Wood (here they need help) Zeller can play here too
C - Zeller, kamisky and Miles Plumlee
They have $103 million in salary next season if they pick up their team options on Johnny Obryant and Briante weber
Their bad contract is Miles Plumlee with 3 more years at 37 million
So I would offer a package that could include Lyles, Neto, Hood (Mack and Diaw could be used to because they have team options) and or picks #24 #30 (not all but a package. Jazz could take PLumlee back (I think he would be a decent back up to gobert)
For the #11 pick. I think this is how the Jazz would draft Zach Collins.
*This is just one idea and i came up with it quickly
Actually I see Collins playing PF for the jazz.I wouldn't touch Plumlee and his contract. If we took that deal on to draft Collins (a backup center for us) I think I'd drive to SLC and slap DL... no explanation just a slap in the face and walk away...
12 million is way too much to pay for Rudy's backup.I wouldn't touch Plumlee and his contract. If we took that deal on to draft Collins (a backup center for us) I think I'd drive to SLC and slap DL... no explanation just a slap in the face and walk away...
I think his best position would be 5, but he might be able to play some 4. I like his shooting, but his game feel probably has to improve. You guys see Collins as a 4???? I think he's a 5 for sure and I don't think he fits with us at all especially if we added another high priced true center. I like him as a prospect, but if he is at the 4 I think it's because you have a Jokic or Porzingis at the 5.
