Following potential 2017 draftees...

Any thoughts on this?

Are the Magic giving up on Peyton?

Also - I think if Isaac is there, the wolves run to the podium with his name. He's both BPA and an insanely good fit with their roster.

My bet is some team will bid at least 60/4 on Ingles based on his playoff proficiency. There are so many teams with salary cap that wants to be filled, which have major spacing issues. Ingles accuracy will give some GMs straight up boners and they'll just want to buy.

after the first 2 picks the draft gets crazy and beauty becomes in the eye of the beholder.

Celtics - fultz - BPA
Lakers - Ball - and the circus that goes with him (i still think Josh Jackson is a better fit)
76ers - could go all over the board. Josh jackson at the 2 for them is their best option especially if they believe they are going to sign home town boy lowry. If Lowry is not an option De'Aaron Fox is a possibility here.

Lowry
Jackson
Saric
Simmons
Embiid

Is a pretty scary team and they now have depth on their roster also

Suns - is another team that could use a little of everyting. If they are truly done with bledsoe then De'aaron fox is a great fit on their roster. They also have Knight and ullis so they actually have a decent PG corp. I like the fit of tatum on their current roster the most and give bledsoe another year.

Bledsoe
Booker
Tatum
Bender
Len

Is a solid core with some depth off the bench

Kings - if fox is on the board they will take him but there are some other nice matches with isaac and monk.
Wolves - will be on the podium so fast it wont be funny with Isaac. The wolves are a scary team

Dunn
Wiggins
Isaac
KAT
Deng

or other options with Lavine and or the player they get for rubio. KAT at center Isaac at the 4. They are looking very good

Knicks - need a PG but they can not pass on malik monk still be on the board. Monk could play the 1 in the triangle offense.

Mavs - need a little bit of everything to start building around barnes. I dont buy into the Ferrell hype. Barnes needs open cutting lanes to be effective and the best person to open the court is markannen. Nowitski will be a great mentor for him.

:D

About his 3p shooting:

2012 - 32.2%
2013 - 39.2%
2014 - 36.6%
^---------------those are from Euro 3p line
2015 - 35.6%
2016 - 38.6%
2017 - 44.1%

He's never shot above 40% in his career. The rest I agree with. His positional versatility and his smarts are very valuable for an NBA team.

Over his NBA career he is 40% I don't care about euro numbers at this point. What percentage do you think he shoots next year... he's been around 45% since as break last year. He's worth all of 3/40.

Probably around 38-39%? I think we will regret giving him 3/40 just like POrtland regrets giving all their subs 10+M.

to early for frank jackson

My thought with the Jazz going with Jackson at 24 is them looking at the lack of depth at point guard and combo guard in this draft. Fultz, Ball, Fox, Smith, Ntilikina, Monk, Mitchell, Kennard are all likely to be gone around 20 I think. After that if you want a point or combo guard that is young and has significant upside it's really just Frank Jackson and Jawun Evans. With four picks and the depth of this draft at PF and C I could see the Jazz taking a guard early to make sure they get one. And Jackson's versatility fits what we do perfectly.

Jackson was a McDonald's All American. Co-MVP of a loaded McDonald's All American game. He was highly efficient in his one year at Duke in a supporting role behind Tatum, Kennard and Grayson Allen. He killed it in the 5 v 5's at the Combine and in athletic testing. He's probably going to kill it in interviews with teams. I think there's a huge chance he's goes in the first round. Worst case scenario he'll go very early in the second round. If he would've stayed at Duke he might have been a lottery pick next year.

I think the only contracts they regret are Leonard, Crabbe, and Turner. They would likely get assets moving guys like Harkless and Aminu.

Crabbe and Turner >>>>> than what Ingles will get. Crabbe would be movable if he didn't have the trade kicker... Turner was just completely misjudging the fit and market... they offered twice what the next closest offer was going to be. Leonard sucks.

It is easy to say find the next Ingles.... they just aren't out there and you will work through 5-10 guys trying.

I'd be all for drafting Frank... he lost momentum with the injury which isn't super serious right. Take him at 24 or 30 on a cheap four year deal... let the kid develop.

Not necessarily giving up on Payton but I don't think they are sold on him to the point they would avoid taking a new PG.

The Wolves could definitely go with Isaac. I just think Collins is possible too. They need size and depth inside. Someone who can rebound and block shots. Take some of the load off of KAT. Collins is more physically ready to handle that than Isaac is.

Well.. if it's ONLY those 3... :D

You have a point there... the only one that is comparable to what Ingles will get is Leonard. I'm not convinced he was ever good and he had less of a history making threes. As far as BBIQ hes the opposite of Ingles.

If Ingles gets 4/60 which I don't see happening... that is a contract he has little chance of living up to.
