I smell insecurity
We need a PF who can play defense, rebound, and shoot (doesnt have to hit 3, only a plus), just needs a decent mid range game.

we'll Bagley isn;t a legit 7' I don't think. I'm talking about real measurements -- as it pertains to Wilt he was the real deal across the board.
I make a very fine distinction of people being giants once they're a legit 7'2" in shoes, so thats really more what I'm talking about. Once you go past 7'2" the scarcity of the height really thins out.. Once you're about 7'6" that means your in the top-50 tallest people walkng that are known about IIRC.. One of these days a player is gonna be like that and real nasty.
Bagley can play SF IMO so it's not really a fair question. He's the obvious answer if included. He's absolutely devastating in transition..
Ayton is very, incredibly safe. He shoots 3's too so there's real world beater potential. He's the best answer I could give you. Legit 7'1" too, he's several inches taller than Dwight Howard.
Marial is more of a project, he's very safe but I'm not inclined to give him that much benefit of the doubt at this point.. I prefer the top C in the HS class of 2018 Moses Brown who appears to be a true 7'..
Right now Mo Bamba is hands down better than Marial and it remains to be seen if he's a legit 7' too, probably yes..
The question is really Ayton or Bamba..
There's a strong case to be made for Bamba. Who's got a better head on his shoulders and longer arms.
We'll see if Isaiah Hartenstein is in the convo if he measures at 7'

There's a bunch of names that i'd throw out there. I've always said the C's interest me most, because of the scarcity. U see the effect a C can have with Rudy, I don't need to get into detail.
Essome Miyem is a 6'10" french kid thats born in 2001 that looks to be a 7' prospect eventually.. Thats my super sleeper.
Luka Simanic is 6'10 and 16½" if he grows to 7' he'll have a really crazy profile for a 7' probable SF type, really nice and athletic and long and a good shooter. Real skilled on the perimeter already.
Zach Collins, Justin Patton might be worthy of mention if they measure out..
Mitchell robinson, Brandon McCoy, Nick Richards, Bol Bol, It's conceivable that players like Charles Bassey Simi ****tu and Jordan Brown grow to 7'..
If Isaiah todd grows that tall he'd be near the top of the list, actually he'd probably be #1...(he's MAYBE 6'10 tho and thats pushing. born in liek 2001 tho)
while i'm throwing out sleepers maybe Kofi Cockburn, Mabor Majak, Chuks Lucky Isitua, Kamryn Wates (this kid is 6'9" and 270lbs in middle-school)..
I'll try to make a list later but the height thing is a hangup things change..
Where we're picking... Ivan Rabb. Good defender, good rebounder, can hit the three. Had an underwhelming season, scoring-wise but has a lot of good tools.

Thats bad news for Utah.... and good news for all the other 1st rd bigs. He is the best defensive big and most athletic in this pool.
Must be making a run for the top-5 next year.. I wouldn't put it past him..
Hope he doesn't get injured tho that'd be a travesty. He does need more polish.

Also Jawun Evans is reportedly in the draft and signing with an agent.
Hope Williams doesnt become the next Rabb.

I like Harry Giles. I think the jazz could draft him send him to p3 and start the Rudy treatment. Working on motions that take the pressure off the knees and strengthen the core and quads.
Giles has the competitive nature that I think will help him recover with the right trainers. I think he rushed back to quickly to play this year.
Caleb swanigan is also a player who fits this mold but there are questions about his motor and desire but he is a monster rebounder.
