Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I buy these huerter promise theories btw or they seem plausible. If lets say hurter worked out and didnt shoot well is that supposed to actually affect their appraisal of his shooting? I think not.

Someone may have... wasn’t us though. Atlanta makes a ton of sense... maybe BKN too... I know it’s 29 but it’s a guaranteed deal and if I was a developing player that’s a place I’d want to go... good development staff and playing opportunities.

Okobo isn’t high risk to me... a guy like Kevin Knox is... could see him being a phenomenal scorer or completely unplayable and in euroleague in a few years.

Watching more Okobo videos today. I just think him and DM would be a nightmare to guard. Both fantastic catch and shoot guys... both can create their own shot. I think Quin would be able to teach Okobo advantage basketball and he could be pretty impossible to guard. He shoots threes off jab steps step backs and is way behind the Euro line. Blows by guys when the lunge out... I don’t think he is a true pg... but with him DM we have enough ball handling and passing in the backcourt. If he has the will to defend he’s gonna be fantastic.

I truly don’t know which way I’d go if Huerter and Okobo were both there at 21.

I think Okobo’s ceiling might be higher but I think Huerter can contribute in a role day 1 and also has a high ceiling.
disagree- i'd take okobo partly because of ceiling, but having played big minutes and big role in france pro a, he's ready to go day one. more so than a guy who played college.

6:01 mark in this clip Troy Brown straight up posterizes Marvin Bagley. Not an athlete, yeah right.

barely gets above the rim. for a mediocre athlete he dunks a lot because he has good/big hands, but even when he's alone, just gets his hand over the rim, never gets up that high. i don't know how big a deal that is if he's skilled and can learn to shoot, but that dunk wasn't a good example of his athleticism.

What do you think the odds are he goes undrafted? I think he has potential to be a decent bench player.

Pefinitely a possibility,he might prefer going undrafted and signing where he wants, i think he'll be drafted in the 50's tho. Malik newman's higher on my board
