What's new

Following Potential 2018 Draftees

this might be THE sleeper.

There are some other things I was reading, too. I don't know where I read it, but Mark Turgeon has a history of deflating prospect performance (Khris Middleton was one referenced). Locke mentioned that although the sample size is small, Huerter had THE best isolation efficiency in the draft (translation: that isn't to say he is the best, but rather that there may be some untapped upside).

Huerter was a former PG before a series of growth spurts. Somewhere in the past 2 years probably around last summer he'd be listed at 6'5" but it was rather apparent he was more like 6'7"..

the Sophomore highlights u posted are excellent, and i'd recommend anyone who wants to see him at his best, or just the capabilities of his offensive arsenal, watch those.

I think the Spurs take Huerter, of all the guys i see getting love here I think it's Okobo who is most likely to still be on the clock at #21

Melton is a good sleeper pick. I'm wondering how the Jazz have him ranked vs Okogie. Walt said in the broadcast that they thought Okogie was a good shooter.

I'm think the Spurs may take him too. Maybe they would be willing to swap picks with us if we threw in Tony Bradley.

I don't know if I'd throw assets to move up for Huerter. I also love The Big Ragu.

Then again, I give 0 ****s about Bradley.

So here's where I stand with the prospects in our area...

I'd be extremely happy if we drafted: Zhaire Smith, Lonnie Walker, Elie Okobo or Donte DiVincenzo
I'd be pleased if we drafted: KBD or Huerter
I could probably talk myself into (although it would take some work to accept a few of them lol): Simons, Musa, Okogie, Frazier, Evans, Hutchison, Khyri Thomas, Grayson Allen, Melton
I hope we avoid (For various reasons. Some I don't think are good fits. Some I don't think are good value. Some are both): Troy Brown, Jerome Robinson, Aaron Holiday, Robert Williams, Mitchell Robinson, Jalen Brunson, Jevon Carter
