What's new

Following Potential 2018 Draftees

I have always had an issue with saying he is a PG because sure he handles the ball on offense but defensively he guards the other teams PF at least in the couple games I watched.
PG is the one position that is defined more by what you do offensively than it is defensively. Plus he probably could guard PG's, he is a really good defender.

I think Vanderbilt is closer to Marvin Williams at UNC than Ben Simmons, and I mean that as a compliment to Vanderbilt. Hopefully he plays sometime this year.

Doncic today had 20 points, 10 assists, 9 rebounds.

I'm still amazed that he's dominating the Euroleague as a ****ing teenager. Can't wait to see what he's capable of in the NBA.

One weird stat about Miles Bridges I just noticed: although his 3PT% is down from last year, he's increased his FT% a crazy amount--from 69% as a Freshman to 94% as a Sophomore.

32 attempts though, not even remotely close to an accurate sample size.

Miles is one of those guys that I think will be a better pro than college player. The floor gets so cluttered and he's playing more 3 (I think). In the NBA I think he's a scoring floor spacing four. I hope he can playmake a bit too.

I see him and I think Tobias Harris... Not sure if it just because of how they are built. If he can defend better than Tobias that's a killer player in the mid lotto. I like him a lot.

Another underrated thing is just the maturity and work ethic on these guys. Dudes that have flaws but are mature enough to recognize them and work on them can fix stuff. With Donovan Mitchell I have been impressed with what he does on the court, but the off court attitude and maturity gives me the utmost confidence that he will get to his ceiling as a player (health permitting). I think that stuff gets a little underrated sometimes. Dudes who are crazy athletes, but mental midgets are getting weeded out more and more with how smart basketball is getting.
